I purchased an investment property in West Memphis back in April of 2018 and I regullary visit West Memphis, which I love, but I have struggled to find a great place to eat in town. I was driving back to my hotel and out of the corner of my eye saw the sign for chicken & waffles. I popped in towards the end of the day and ordered spicy chicken and waffles. The chicken was so good. There is a place in New Orleans called Big Mammas Chicken and Waffles and their Katrina Chicken was amazing but this was better. The waffle was super fluffy and super tasty. I love this place and I love the fact that there is a place I can go and get great food in West Memphis without breaking the bank.

My husband and I went to the Waffle House for a late night meal. We both ate on one meal and left full. The price is great and the food was good, considering that we were tired and hungry.

We arrived at noon on Saturday after a ballgame. Obviously lunch buffet had just been put out so every thing was fresh. Start with server, Sylvia who did an excellent job. Greeted up promptly, had drink orders to us in timely manner, left extra napkins and checked on us numerous times for refills.Salad bar was excellent, fresh and numerous items to select and cold skillets are great addition to place your salad on. Soup looked great even thou we did not sample either one of the two choices. Letâs comment on desserts now as these were three choices of cake/pie selections and some puddings and fruit on salad bar. We tried a couple things and the were great. Now for the food bar. How about a half(yes a half) of BBQ chicken. There was pulled pork, bbq ribs, fried chicken and fried fish. They were all excellent. Vegetable choices were mashed potatoes,baked beans, brown beans(excellent), a sautéed blend of vegetables,rice green beans and a few others. Only complaint is nothing seemed to be real hot, it seemed like maybe half the steam bar may not have been working properly. Now today was called BBQ buffet day and the price was $14.49 per person. Do not know if that is the daily price for other days. I consider price to be acceptable but maybe a little high to pay for lunch but I know they have to have same price for lunch and dinner unless they happened to limit some of the selections for lunch. Since we live close, we will return for dinner and be happy to pay that price for dinner. A strong recommendation based on our visit but like all visits to restaurants, the time of your arrival can make a big difference of selection and freshness of food.

We are seven sisters on our annual trip which happens to be Memphis this year. The Shake Shack was rated high on TA so we gave it a try. Large variety of burgers, sandwiches, baskets, desserts on menu and, of course, milk shakes. Food was good and plentiful. Owners were âon handâ with visiting with customers, introducing themselves, getting refills, checking orders, helping staff. Very friendly. Prices extremely reasonable. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and certainly visit again. The restaurant name has been there a while but owners shared with us that the current building is brand newâbuilt behind their previous building which is now a nice asphalt parking lot. Thank you so much for choosing to eat with us! We appreciate the kind words!! Hope you all enjoyed your trip!

This place was pretty bad on the inside and the outside. Both were dirty and falling apart. All food was microwaved and Luke warm if luckily. Not sure where they cook anything from. I ate 2 bites of my food and threw the rest away at the truck stop down the road as did many in my party . We stopped on our way threw town because of the good reviews. But seriously the health department needs to look into this place.

We stayed at the La Quinta Inn next door and there are very limited dining choices in this area. I am actually surprised that some of the other major restaurant chains don't build here, since there are several hotels at this exit. We ate at the Cracker Barrel because it was within walking distance. There was a lot of paper debris on the floor, such as napkins, straw wrappers, food delivery tickets, etc. No one cares to sweep any of this up, so employees and guests just walk over it. The food is okay but not great, the carrots as a side dish were mushy like they were in water too long. Biscuits were delivered when we were half way done with our meal. And trying to get a refill on a beverage is a major project. If you want something cheap and edible, this place will do, otherwise, get in the car and drive.

Nice casino type buffet kept clean. They have a special entree item nightly. Check for your favorite. The weekend seafood special seemed overpriced to several in my party though. It was almost double the price compared to the weekday buffet. Staff was attentive to beverage refills.

We came with all our kids on Saturday night. The servers and waiters were all wonderful and extremely nice. Our crab cakes were delicious but the beef and bacon kebobs tasted old and were not served with the blue cheese sauce as the menu described. Our steak were actually really good and actually cooked very close to how we like them. The seafood pasta was good but the shrimp tasted frozen as the lobster tail did also. If this is to truly be a five star place, that is not acceptable. Truly the shining star on the menu are the desserts! They are massive and delicious!!

Decided to try this on our way through Memphis, right off the highway and had good reviews. Older part of town, old building, possibly sketchy neighborhood, total hole-in-the-wall place...BUT, if you want an authentic experience and excellent bbq...the chopped BBQ sandwich is incredible! Small menu, William himself sits at the counter, they take your order at the counter with a notebook and pen, and they add your total up with a calculator. Very glad we tried it...would definitely stop here again if weâre in the area!

Great service nice cold beer where the temperature is displayed. Prices not to bad for a casino bar. Had a great time and was able to see many sport events on their many TV'S. If you in Memphis TN it's just across the river. Live dog racing with off track betting.
