Ordered Onion Rings, Large Chowders, Fried Sea Foods looking for something good. Placed the order with no problem ( because no one was there ) ..Ten minutes later, they called my order over a P.A. system that does not work, but I was standing right there anyway. We got the order and started to engulf on our Long Weekend treat. We first started on the Onion Rings which I hate to say looked like the bottom of the bag of Funions. They were all crumbled and broken and covered with cold oil. Oh well, lets over look the bad and go with the rest of the feast. We opened our Fried Sea Food to see over cooked, dark brown food fried in what looks to be dirty oil. Things were greasy, dark and way over cooked. Also, I'd like to mention that you do get ketchup not cocktail sauce for a Large order of Fried Shrimp. OK, Let's enjoy the chowder, NOT !! The Large chowders were refrigerator COLD !NOT EVEN ALMOST WARM....Third year in a row where we honestly wanted to give them a shot, but again it's seventy bucks in the trash. My advise is to go down the road 7 miles to Kimball's for fried seafood.

Wanted to come here for years and finally went. All I can say it is Awesome. Our server time was at 2 on and didn't get in until 2:45 pm. The staff was very attentive and nice to talk too. The portions came out quick and the timing was perfect between them. Everything was fabulous. If you want a terrific meal in an outstandung setting this is it! You can also walk around in their gardens, go in the gift shop or just sit outside and enjoy the beauty.Thank you! Just want to let you know that the first day of the menu is very hectic. It’s like opening a new restaurant every month. Sorry for the delay! Thanks so much for coming and we hope to see you soon!

Visited for an early lunch with friends. I had hot lemon solstice tea done perfectly using the timer given for the table. I also had a ham and cheese croissant which was ok, but not as good as the quiche that my friends had--wished I had picked the vegetable quiche. Beautiful setting and great service. The tea and gift chop is a must-see.

Recently saw a show here and had dinner before. The small prime rib was huge, accompanied with fresh green beans, a baked potato and a popover. There is also a nice selection of drinks and their bread pudding was scrumptious. Fun evening all around.

Fortunately friends invited us to join them at Parkers several weeks ago. Since it is somewhat off the beaten path we do not think of going there often enough. We ordered a variety of breakfast food including the basics, pancakes and eggs. In addition to the unique atmosphere we also enjoyed everyone of our meals. Since we were there on a week day we avoided what had been our reason for infrequent visits to Parkers.....crowds. I recommend doing what we did and that is go during the week if your schedule allows and enjoy the service and meal just like we did.

We stopped in for lunch when traveling through the area. It was around 1 pm on a Saturday, but it seemed like most people were getting breakfast. Maybe that's their specialty. I got a fish sandwich and my husband had a Reuben. Both came with fresh hot fries. They were excellent. (I am picky about my fries). My fish sandwich was very good, with huge pieces of fish. My husband loved the Reuben. The service was decent. The place is pretty low-key; not much aesthetically, but a good place for a quick bite.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years but have recently noticed a downgrade in quality and value for your dollar. I’ve tested out the days and times I’ve gone but come to the conclusion that standards are slipping and management is content with being mediocre. The pasta is less than al dente, the hamburgers passable and underwhelming. The salads are slightly wilted and full of stems, and the drinks are weak and unappealing. They survive by their lack of competition and because their service remains good.Good morning K O’Connor We care very much about every menu item as much thought and preparation are put forth during menu planning. Please know that execution may simply be a training issue. This will be shown to our culinary director and the appropriate training steps will be taken. As for prices, I’m sure you have noticed the increase in food cost over the past few years also increases in labor cost, utilities, taxes. Just about every area of living has been affected. Not to mention hourly rates for labor repairs have sky rocketed. It is important to Mariano Restaurant Group to offer quality and value. We have over 7000 visits a month and we do have quite a lot of restaurants close to us within 5 miles. Our core values are to Be Personable, Respectful, Responsible, Encouraging and to Enjoy life. It is expected that we treat every guest as if they are guests in their own home. Based on your food expectations we apologize we were not successful at this. Thank you for sharing and please understand we take feedback very serious. We will do our part to improve. We ask if you ever choose to visit Bailey’s again to come in with the expectation that it is going to be amazing. Much Gratitude

We usually visit the Townsend House on weekday evenings and receive great service and very good food. This time we tried a Saturday night, major mistake, it was extremely crowded which says a lot about the restaurant but doesn't improve the dining experience. Service was very slow which can be expected on a busy night but our server was having an especially bad night. Had to ask several times about our drink order and other tables were being seated after us but served before us. The waitress seemed totally at a loss. The fried food was over done as well, easy to do when the kitchen is overwhelmed. We will continue to go to the Townsend House because it's usually a great time, just not on a weekend
