We were driving back roads to Charlotte from Florida around lunch time. We found R and D's! Seat yourself and go to the buffet! I grew up on Southern food but hadn't had any good stuff in years! I think I died and went to heaven! It was fantastic. We didn't have dessert...but everything we had was fabulous! A side note...those ladies work their butts off! Tip them! Even if you get your own food, they bring your drinks, refills and clean up after you! For $7.50 including your drink, you can afford it! Please!

Oh man, this Huddle House had some great food at a great price. Our server was on top of keeping our drinks filled for the 6 of use. The food did not arrive all at the same time but that was okay. The taste and value for what you got was excellent. The menu is big for a building this size. The employees were all very happy and acknowledged you when you arrived and left. They really were happy to service us from what I can tell.We went for breakfast and the omelettes, waffles, pancakes and hash browns were done to perfection. The eggs they skimped a bit on them but that was the only downside.

The food is average to good, your typical country food options but it isn't consistent. There are better options for country food in this town but there is also worse places to try. The building is dated and it isn't the most inviting place to stop.

My wife (who is from Sylvania) visited this location on Thanksgiving Eve to pick up some sandwiches for our family. The employees went above and beyond to make her feel welcome. She was so impressed she asked me to write this review. Oh yeah, the sandwiches were good, too.
