A fantastic find on our trip through New Hampshire. The service was fast and efficient the restaurant was clean and comfortable much like a hometown dinner. We arrived for breakfast and I asked the waitress what was good to eat. She suggested Irish eggs benedict. Honestly... this never would have been on my list of choices off their vast 4 page menu selection; however, because we were in a hurry I took her suggestion. It was DEFINITELY a good choice!Highly recommend this establishment

Somewhat disappointed - food was just ok and coffee was awful.I had a bacon, spinach, feta omelette - my 'test' for a new bfast place. It was a griddle omelette, not made in a pan, so basically flat eggs with stuff rolled inside. Not enough cheese to hold it together, and bacon inside was hard. Hubby got a Reuben benedict, and wasn't wowed. Corned beef was tough and chunky. Oh well...

Lots of great beers on tap, and even more available in bottles. The food menu is limited but everything we had was truly excellent, especially the grilled brat sandwich and the pretzel mountain. Definitely do not miss the pretzel mountain! We read that they have half price apps midweek so we'll be back for that, for sure. Friendly, casual atmosphere. Lots of space. Good music. Board games if you want to hang out.

My two children and I planned a last minute Birthday Celebration for my wife. Called the Homestead Restaurant several days in advance for a party of 21 people on Sunday March 10th. The Staff was very accomodating and gave us the small function room. The Server Christine took very good care of us and the food was fantastic! We choose: Steak Tips, Baked Haddock and Chicken for options and all 21 people who attended raved about the food and the service. I would highly Recommend the Homestead Restaurant.

Buckley's Bakery and Cafe

Reviewed By jociemarie

I went at the recommendation of a co-worker with an emphasis on their desserts, so I decided to go with my husband and give Buckley's Bakery a try; upon entering, it looked like they had a ticket system similar to what you'd see at the deli counter, but instead we were asked by one of the several employees behind the counter if we could be helped. Having never been there before, it took us some time to decide on a couple of paninis, drinks, and desserts. Because they make the paninis to order, there was a bit of an awkward wait near the register, not really knowing where to stand. Other than that, the staff was super friendly and helpful and the extra seating upstairs was a nice getaway from the hustle downstairs. I didn't take a picture but for my dessert I had a cream puff shaped liked a swan - I thought it was absolutely lovely! Thanks so much for choosing to dine with us, and taking the time to leave us some of your feedback. So glad to hear you enjoyed the cream puff swan, and our staff was helpful! We are always working to improve things for our guests, so we really do appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review!

The Common Man

Not all Common Man restaurants serve lunch and we were happy to find this one did. The location was convenient as we were headed back to Massachusetts. The lunch menu is very similar to the dinner menu except that portions are advertised as smaller. They may be smaller but they are not small. The food and service were very good. Little things like delivering your bill in a novel make this place special. It was fun to read other diner's comments as well as add our own.

Buckley's Great Steaks

Came here at 5pm on a Thursday. I had never heard of Buckley's and was brought here on a business dinner to impress a very important client. The organizer chose this place well. The atmosphere is very warm and our client could not stop admiring the podium at the entrance. The podium is made out of wineboxes and has a very authentic, custom decor. There are paintings on the wall that are artistic and for sale. If you venture into the attached gift shop next door, they support local artists and this is very important aspect everyone loved. The hostess and waitress staff were wonderful. Our food was cooked and ordered, starting with appetizers. Wonderful choices, quite a handsome selection of meals available on the menu. Our guest of honor was very impressed with the amount and quality of food. We started with appetizers, continued with the main course and finished off with desert. The display brought out of examples of desert dishes was quite impressive, as most restaurants are apt to show only photos and descriptive words. I love this place and cannot wait to come back!Wow, thank you so much for the great review! We are always thrilled to hear when a guest enjoys their visit, and we thank you for taking the time to let us know. We hope you'll join us again in the future!

Lobster Boat Restaurant

On my annual trip back to the east coast to see family, my dad asked if we could come here (it’s been a staple for us since I was a kid). The restaurant has had some updates to the exterior which is nice but the same homey New England vibe was inside...which was great. Ellen was our waitress and she was lovely! I of course had a steamed lobster which you can’t get in Arizona! The lazy man lobster was ok but a little dry...my boyfriend will stick to the regular lobster next time
