We stopped by to give it a try. Very good subs. Made right in front of us. Also have options for salads, pizza and ice cream. Better than some of the other national sandwich chains!!

When we arrived at 5 PM (dinner time) the parking lot was jam packed.Turned out the bar was hopping for the Kentucky Derby. No problems grabbing a table. Never did find a hostess. Waitress was friendly. Place does get crowded and loud. They also had tables reserved but not sure they take reservations ? Food does take a bit to be served but it was really good. Prices are very right. They do not offer any desserts.

Stopped in to watch a few games and they have TV's everywhere and good food. Pool, Darts and a nice bar makes it a friendly neighborhood place.

Gone here a few times now, every time the meal has been amazing. Had a drink at the bar before, it was reasonably & cheap. Had prime rib this time and it was the best Iâve ever had. Salad bar & bread is so good also. Highly recommended.

We came here with my son. Place was tiny and cramped, not a good location for sit down restaurant. Only seat avail was right next to the door, we froze the whole time. Service was ok. Prices were cheap! But the food was horrendous!!!!! You could tell they have chosen to serve the cheapest meat ever. Nothing was fresh. They served up some cheap orange drink. I will go elsewhere for food. Will never return and I tell everyone I know to stay away, itâs not worth it at all

We live locally in McFarland and go to the Green Lantern 3-4 times per month. The food is nothing to write home about, classic diner/bar food...although my husband swears by the Walleye and Eggs. I was a HUGE fan of the perch fish dinner, but they removed it from the menu a little bit ago. The waitresses are usually very nice and patient, while we usually see the bartenders are the opposite...crabby and not very patient. Would like to see the Greenie expand with some outdoor seating for the months it is nice in Wisconsin. Would be extremely marketable as McFarland has 0 restaurants with lake-side seating.

So nice to be able to walk or bike to the McFarland House Cafe located right on Main Street in McFarland. The building is the old Railroad House and it's historical backdrop adds to the ambience. There is indoor, front grass and back porch seating. It is a perfect place to meet a friend for coffee or tea or for lunch. We have eaten then for breakfast, break and lunch and have never found a complaint. We have used them to cater in sandwiches and were pleased with the personal touch. We keep going back!

My 3rd time at Angelo's McFarland. Not only did I have wonderful service by Dan, I had Amazing food too-! I highly suggest the Cajun Shrimp & Sausage w Gluten-free pasta. Very cozy place & met so many friendly people there-! I will definitely be back-!

We stopped here for our first visit while in Madison and Wisconsin. We were treated to grand food and great service! Try the Walleye, or rotisserie chicken and definitely the appetizers! The staff was great and attentive while my drink was always topped off.Enjoy, we sure did.
