If you are a foodie or just a wine lover, you must try Celilo. We dined in downtown Hood River at Celilo Restaurant and Bar after hearing that they are a farm to table type of restaurant. Consequently, Celilo features a menu of fresh ingredients, complemented by a far-reaching wine list.We were here in May and had two amazing dishes made with fresh asparagus and Morrel mushrooms. For dessert, we had a tasty pear, cranberry, huckleberry trio of sorbets. Plus we had some great wines. Definitely, don't miss this place when you are in Hood River!

Everything about Stonehedge was great. Our waitperson was Sophie, her father seated us and her mother cooked. The meal was tasty and well-made. Even the salad was good - nice dressing and interesting ingredients. My salmon pasta was so good, and I was lucky enough to bring some home for another meal. Our party of four loved everything about the experience: the food, the staff and sitting outdoors in a beautiful setting.

Well I just so happened to see a back cover advertisement about this restaurant on a magazine at our Air BnB. The steak and eggs looked so good I couldn't sleep the night before. Torn between a skillet and a omelette as I always am, seeing a fellow patron's food arrive and the waitress recommendation I went with what Van Halen would call the "best of both world's".....the Farmer's Omelet! Let's just say if you're in the state of Oregon period - get to Egg River ASAP!!

My best friend Gail and I were there for a long girly weekend. The Riverside far surpassed our expectations. Service, Food, atmosphere were all spot on. Happy Hour was a delight, and the selections were plentiful. The salads were large and the dinners were exceptional. I had the Wedge and Steak and seasonal veg, all off the Happy Hour Menu. Outstanding. Fresh, tender meat, veggies cooked to perfection. But breakfast was off the charts. Poached pear, maple pecan French toast that was not too sweet and melted in your mouth. The Short Rib Hash was just delicious and had a lot of very tender pieces of meat cooked just right. Onions, peppers, and potatoes were also delicious. The coffee was wonderful and the Pumpkin Spice Mule drink I had was a favorite. The views of the Gorge spectacular. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be going back. And bonus. If you stay at The Best Western Plus in Hood River, you get breakfast for free!!!Dear Sherri L,We appreciate your generous and detailed review. Thank you for taking the time to submit it. We are ecstatic to hear how much enjoyed your meals with us at Riverside and Happy Hour at Cebu. We hope you enjoyed your long girls weekend, and that you're able to join us again in the future!

We’ve been a fan of this place before it moved across the river because they used wonderful local fruits and vegetables in a wide array of cooking styles. This hasn’t changed at all. We started the meal with their hand cut truffle fries then moved on to an heirloom tomato peaches toast with a unique goat cheese and herb spread. We then ate one of their pizzas, Cremini Mushroom and goat cheese with a sprinkling of mozzarella pizza. It was loaded with mushrooms but I just didn’t think the crust was terrific. It needed to remain a wee bit longer in the brick oven. And perhaps a bit more mozzarella. My only other complaint and this is a problem with many Hood River restaurants, they are not air conditioned. On a stifling hot minimal breeze evening like last night sitting on their outside eating area was miserable. But eating indoors probably as bad. And when we left after 9 pm the place was still packed!

Bette’s is a good diner style restaurant for breakfast. A few of us met for breakfast on the last day of a get together we had in Hood River. Since people were leaving for airports and road trips, we appreciated the quick service along with the good food. I enjoyed the crab Benedict, and I don’t remember any complaints from anyone else about their food!
