The Farmington Subway does a nice job. Good service and all the usual sandwiches. The flatbread helps save some calories. The egg white sandwiches with a bit of Chipotle sauce, banana peppers, spinach and tomatoes are superb.

We recently went here with several couples and had great meals. The food was delicious and the portions very generous. The staff was attentive even though it was a busy night. The restaurant is BYOB but does serve soda. Most of us took food home and can't wait to go back!

This well-known eatery features an expasive and quite creative selection of entrees. I'm especially fond of the Maker's Mark Apple Cider Lemonade, or whatever they call it. This tasty concoction proves to soothe when paired with any offering from pizza pro Manny's creative kitchen.

This Review is not for the great Nordstrom Café, today is the Turn of the Awesome Nordstrom E-Bar, located at the Nordstrom Store exit to the First Floor of the Westfarms Mall in Farmington, CT.Strategically Located and well assorted, this Coffee Shop provides a great spot where to rest while shopping and gratify yourself with great coffee drinks or teas, cookies, cakes or even a sandwich or salad for a fast lunch.The Place is served by great Baristas, even I get shocked when they know how to do an Expresso "cortadito" (Spaniard version of the Italian "macchiato" but with a bit more of milk and no foam).I had visiting the place regularly from some time ago and have make it my daily stop for a "cortado" and "Madeleines" (French stile cookies that should be taken with the expresso), So I could appreciate the high skills, the promptness and cordiality of the whole team there, Steve, Nicole and Nicolette and the other fellows who's names I don't know.In sum your visit to the Westfarms will not be complete without this stop. Try it, you'll not regret.

Mamma Luke's is located on Route 6 in the building that previous was occupied by Joey Garlic's. The atmosphere and decor is similar, very casual and relaxed, with rustic knotty pine throughout. There are separate rooms for parties and meetings. Noise level during dinner is moderate, but you can still carry on good conversation. We selected our favorite salad: the American Orange Salad which comes with pita bread. The fried calamari is wonderful and comes with fried hot peppers, and they ARE hot. Eggplant fried are crisp and not greasy. The pasta with broccoli rabe and sausage is really good. Portions are large, enough for two or leftovers to take home. They also serve burgers, grinders, pizza, pasta and calzones. Waitstaff are very quick and attentive. We will return.

The hallmark of The Cottage is their rotating menu. Right now, there is a lot of fish on the summer menu. All the ingredients are so fresh and every meal--I was there for dinner with five other people--looked delicious. As one reviewer stated, never had a bad meal there. Serving staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. Didn't have room for dessert, but the coffee was outstanding.

Our first visit here this year was probably also our last. The problems started when there were only 2 unknown chardonnays available by the glass and neither was a good quality. The steak in the steak salad was very well done and not medium as requested, and was served in a bowl, making it difficult to cut. The salmon entree was also over-cooked and dry, and the risotto served with it was tasty but had a bit of an undercooked, sticky texture. Our bartender provided good service but the food was just not acceptable.

We had passed this restaurant many times because it is very conveniently located to a shopping area and cinema where we frequently go. We wanted to try someplace different for our anniversary lunch so we chose J. Timothy's Taverne. We were very pleased with the colonial pub atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu is eclectic -- so many choices! We both ordered the open-face crab melt sandwich with onion straws as the side. Delicious, and just the right portion size. We will definitely visit J Timothy's again soon to try some more of the many tempting offerings.
