We stumbled across this nugget courtesy trip advisor. The food was decent, but the amazing wooden architecture of this place puts you straight in the mindset of being in a mountain lodge and frankly the food could have been average and we would still have thought it was great. The staff were on good form, and the overall impression was that this place deserves a higher rating than it currently enjoys on TA. Get in there already!

We came into town for a wedding and came here on recommendation. We were not disappointed. The burgers were really good and they brew their own beer and it was tasty. We arrived during happy hour and they server (bartender) was awesome with the suggestions. We recommend this place to all!

This was my first time at the Carver Hanger and I certainly will be back. The restaurant was very busy but the five of us were seated immediately. I ordered a bowl of chili and the Double Cheese burger with onion rings. The chili was excellent. The double cheeseburger was gigantic. The burger was delicious. I tried my best but after the chili I could only finish half of the cheeseburger. The onion rings were also cooked just right. Everyone at the table said the same thing, GREAT FOOD. I don't know our server's name but she was excellent. I tried one of their craft beers which she recommended and it was very good. Great Food, Great Prices and Great Service. I'll be back.

Went here numerous times over a 2-week period that I was in the area for work. Enjoyed their breakfast burrito as well as their lighter egg fares. Even hit them up once for lunch. Price was right, the service was fast and the people were friendly. Easy parking too.Thank you for the incredible review. We're so happy you stopped by! Can't wait to see you again soon!

Elmerâs is always a good place to eat, but not locations are created equal. This place stand out. The food is fantastic, but the staff here are phenomenal. Friendly, personable, communicate well with diners. A very clean, well kept place. I dislike anyplace when you order coffee, and have a hard time getting more then one cup from them. Here at Elmerâs , they are attentive, and refill the coffee often, but not overbearing. So as always, trust the fat man. Great place to eat. OMG...it was fantastic.. A definitely healthy choice... So much to choose... I tried a couple of soups.. tasty.. The salad bar was incredible.. I loved it.. There was also garlic bread and pizza slices.. Pasta dishes.. Baked potatoes.. Also some lovely desserts.. The lemon muffins were delicious. Very friendly and helpful.. I'm definitely visiting again and hopefully it will be soon...

High prices, good service variety in their menu and nice decor. The staff taste the food so they can answer questions. I enjoyed my oysters. My husband had steak but he wasnât impressed. Like food? Eat here and be happy. Beautiful 19th century farm house east of Portland. Plan on carrying a takeout box to your car--the portions are very large. We travel to the Portland area probably once or twice a year and always make a point to meander to Deans for at least one breakfast per trip. It's that good. The folks who work there all seem to enjoy their jobs--most of them have been there for years.

You would not know this is a chain restaurant. Only a couple location in Oregon and CA. The menu options were very good. Staeks and Seafood. I had the blackened salmon which was delicious, along with a baked potato. Mixed drinks were very good too!

This restaurant located in the Monarch Hotel is terrific but it's unfortunate that probably only guest at the hotel will be there to appreciate it. The portions are very generous, too much so and the burger is the best I can remember having for years. Hats off to the brussel sprouts with the pork belly croutons and fontina cheese. Actually I never had an even iffy meal there in the 5 days I stayed. There was no incentive to go elsewhere for meals and the one we did go to was 4X the price and inedible.Dear Maureen -We are delighted that you enjoyed all of the offerings you tried at de Fuego and agree that the burger is phenomenal!
