Memo's Restaurant has been serving breakfasts and lunch for over 50 years. We strive to provide our customers with quality ingredients and exceptional service. We were voted #1 breakfast in Western Massachusetts and #4 in the state of Massachusetts. We ha
If you live in West Springfield, or the area, Memo's is already on your list, especially for breakfast. Weekends are very full and parking is a challenge. Week day mornings are less crazy. The service is outstanding with a seemingly never ending coffee pot. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone. One note of caution, during my last visit my friend didn't read the title of the omelete section, Four Egg Omelets does mean Four Egg Omelets. They are wonderfully huge and delicious and can easily feed two. My two favorite items on the menu are the home fries and the off the bone ham. If this establishment were housed in a dining car instead of a brick and mortar building, it would be one of the best diners in the state. If you are seeking out the best local gem for breakfast in our area, go to Memo's!

We stopped for breakfast. I had not been in this restaurant in over 30 years. The decor has not changed, but it fits with the town. It was really clean, more than enought servers. Our server, Simone J was outstanding. She took our orders after bringing coffee and tea and was waiting on many tables. She was back with our orders within 10 minutes. We could not have asked for anything better. I'm really glad that we stopped at the Lucky Strike Restaurant. I had the veggie omellet and my husband had the Canadian bacon special. When in the area we will stop again!

I tend to be stingy with my five star reviews. But the home made Corned Beef Hash here is worth the prize. The accompanying scrambled eggs and fried potatoes were very good, and the Rye toast respectable. The bottomless cup of coffee is good enough to drink black. Prices are reasonable and the service friendly and efficient. The place is clean and pleasant. The only quibble: get rid of the Sysco High Fructose Corn Syrup synthetic ketchup! For a place willing to offer real maple syrup at a small premium, they should be able to find a better ketchup.Thank you ulysses4!For taking the time to write a review AND for offering up a five star review! Spread the word!Sincerely,Mark & Susan Tansey

Welcome to your Chicopee Ninety Nine Restaurant where we have "A Passion To Serve." Come dine with us and check out our 9 Real Size Entrees for just $9.99 or come enjoy our Thursday Night Trivia at the bar.
I walked over as it was close to the hotel.I had a Jack's Abbey Hoponius Union IPA on tap which was an excellent IPA. For dinner I ordered the prime rib. It was cooked to perfection and came with a choice of 2 sides which I chose a side salad and baked potato. The prime rib had excellent flavor and was priced very reasonable at $19.99 for the larger 18 ounce size. They offer some good deserts and a few petite sizes. They looked good, but the meal and beer filled me up so I passed.

We sat a the bar ordered a couple of drinks - Bartender - Dina, she was nice and very prompt. We ordered medium rare for both entries â Filet/Lobster tail and Ribeye with a side of asparagus. The ribeye was medium rare on half of it and well done. The manager brought out our dinners - he quickly left as you could see the ribeye was black on one end. We sent the steak back. He returned with a new steak. Cooked well but it was not a ribeye - they re-fired a NY Strip. I said - this is not a ribeye - he said "yes it is ... it's just from further down the loin". Well got news for the manager the "loin" is not part of the "Rib" - what an idiot. A Strip has hardly any fat and a Ribeye has fat marbling throughout. The Steamed Asparagus was covered in way too much seasoning - asparagus does not need tons of seasoning - a little butter and salt. The manager couldn't care less about us. They put the butter and sour cream in one small ramekin I asked for more sour cream - he said that I already had it - yeah - I wanted more - there was only enough to last for half of the potato. The manager made our experience terrible. We won't be back.

Got to stop in here for quick eats. The burgers are all amazing as well as dogs and tenders. Reasonable priced and good kids meal prices. This is my favorite time when they have the burger tournament. Then top it all off with homemade ice cream which is best around!

First I want to say that my husband has been here twice with his father and enjoys the prime rib dinner. He wanted to take myself and our 2 boys to eat in the train car for a fun experience. We live an hour and 15 min away. I was so disappointed in the service by the woman seating people, her name was Jen. I was appalled at her behavior and it truly ruined our experience.Once we arrived, we were not even acknowledged for over 5 min. Jen seemed like she had the worst possible attitude. She didn't even look at us and hustled around with such a puss on her face. Once we were acknowledged, my husband asked if we could be seated in the train car, to which she responded, "If you wanna wait." We said we did. About 10 min later, she brings us into the train car, throws menus down on the table before we even reached it and walked away....I wanted to ask if we could have the 4 empty train seats rather than the regular kitchen, wooden seats she brought us to. Finally when a waitress came over, we asked if we could move. It wasn't crowded and it honestly was only a few seats away. She said hold on and then said ok. Once we were walking to the table Jen came around and rolled her eyes at me and the waitress said, you're not supposed to change seats once you're sitting down. Jen truly was a witch seating people and once even yelled at Nicole, one of the waitresses because she wasn't fast enough...and to me Nicole was hustling. It's not like she was fooling around. Also, we were seated to where we could see inside the kitchen and it was nasty. Dirty stuff everywhere, toys sitting on top of the soda machine and dirty napkins etc. all of the floor and under the machines...and cluttered. It turned my stomach and I decided not to even finish my meal because it wasn't tasty either. We will NOT be returning here ever again. I can't believe Jen is even part of the team there, not sure what part she has in the business, but I'd get rid of her.

BEST BBQ I (we) ever had.Called ahead b4 our Trip to Springfield MA.We were staying over to see Aerosmith in town. They told us to get there at 5 when they opened. They were not kidding. People were waiting outside. We got in, and was met with a smell of fresh popcorn. Great start!!!!Our server was awesome!! Super friendly, and she told us that we should pre-order the burnt ends appetizer as we order our meals, as they will be gone. We wanted something for our midnight snack in our room after the show. Apps: Hubby ordered a cup of gumbo. He loved it.I ordered the bourbon wings. They are to die for!For my meal, I ordered half rack of baby back ribs.OMG, they were meaty, tender, and fell off the bone, had to pick up with a fork.sides: honey slaw, baked beans, onion rings, corn bread. All were awesome.Everything was served hot.Hubby ordered the brisket and absolutely loved it. Said it was the best heâs had.Very tender. His sides: same as me, aside from onion rings, he got the Mac ân cheese. He wasnât super jazzed about that, not creamy, cheese enough to his liking.Did not dismiss his meal, he loved everything else.Note!!!!! The baked beans, alone are beyond amazing. I would definitely recommend these.Huge portions. Took rest home from hotel, and we will have for dinner 2nite.We cannot recommended this place enough.Awesome food, Awesome service, Great vibe and energy, reasonable prices.GO!!!!

Some friends and I attended a small baby shower for a friend. The staff was very helpful with the arrangements and the afternoon of the shower was a great experience for all in attendance. We ordered off the menu. I enjoyed the Cal's chopped salad with mixed greens, garbanzo beans, carrots, cucumbers, red onions, avocado, cranberries, hard boiled egg and feta cheese with a generous grilled chicken. Everything was fresh and delicious. Loved the dressing. We will always keep Cal's on out list of places to visit.
