Me, my wife, and three grandchildren stayed here at the Scarlet Pearl Casino. We ordered a couple pizzas from here and they were outstanding. Hand tossed and with about anything you want on it. I had such high hopes for this restaurant, since its one of the very few places with vegan options in Biloxi. The pizza looked pretty good coming out of the oven, but my first bite told another story. It was basically lukewarm at best. The dough had cooked, but nothing else- the sauce was still cold and the cheese, even though vegan, was not melted or even slightly warm. As you can see in the picture, I just scraped the toppings off and ate the dough- which was actually pretty good. I also ordered the cinnamon sticks- almost the whole bottom was burnt- they were terrible. The staff was really nice.

We ordered a pizza and a philly cheesesteak sandwich around 9pm last night. We were greeted on the phone by Kevin, the most professional Dominos person ever encountered. I had some questions about how to order and what to order and he was very helpful as we were on a budget for expense account. I told him the budget and he recommended several choices for us. We got the pizza and sandwich, which were the best we have ever gotten from any Dominos anywhere. Pizza was so hot that we could barely eat it. They put in some peppers and parmesan for us, which we appreciated. The sandwich was delicious. If you have never eaten one of these 5.99 sandwiches you need to get one. We usually eat poboys around here but these sandwiches are so good. Pressed, hot and flavorful. I actually called back to tell Kevin thanks and about how good the food was but he had left. The woman that answered the phone seemed proud that we liked the food and that probably explains why their facility had such good food. We eat all over the place during travels and last night just didnt feel like going out. We were glad we selected this Dominos and got food that was really enjoyable and delicious..plus courteous service on the phone. (Delivery driver was nice too, but I didnt get his name).

We typically visit for kids eat free night but the place is usually WAY too crowded. Wednesday evening was much more enjoyable with it being a slower night. Food is decent however you can tell some of the less popular pizza options have been sitting under a warmer for quite a while. Besides pizza they offer a good salad bar and other southern fixings. My wife enjoys their salads and gumbo and my kid is a fan of the macaroni and chicken. To top it off they have soft serve ice cream. They used to have an Icee machine but it seems to have disappeared. One issue is the pricing. Their prices have gone up steadily over the past few years however that has coincided with their food variety. It would be helpful if they had a salad bar only or pizza only option for the buffet but that would be hard to enforce. We will be back though.

We arrived at Sal and Mookies at 11:20 on a Sunday morning. After 35 minutes, our waitress came over to tell us that the oven had been set too hot so our pizza had burned. (The people at the next table had their pizza already with no problem.) She was sorry and they would make another. Well, it is my experience that folks head to a restaurant when they are hungry, so it would have been nice to be offered a little something to hold us over until our pizza actually came. After another 20 minutes with no pizza we asked if we had been forgotten. The manager popped by to apologize and told us she would discount our ticket. I suggested that we probably should have been offered something while we waited. We were then offered breadsticks which came in time. 40 minutes passed between the original apology and the arrival of our pizza - for a grand total of 1 hour and 15 minutes. Sadly, this one should have been in the oven at least another 5 minutes. When we asked about the discount which had not been applied to our bill, we were told that the breadsticks were given in lieu of a discount. Believe me, this pizza is not worth the wait even on a good day.
