First of all this place is kinda in the middle of nowhere. It doesn't look very attractive as you pull up. However there are free roaming geese I'm sure the kids will be interested in. As we entered we thought ok so the inside is better than the outside so this may be ok. Let me say we drove 2 1/2 hours just to eat here and then made that same drive back home. I checked out their Facebook site and seen the lobster tails, beef tips and steaks so I thought why not and loaded up my family of six for the night out. We chose to sit out on the deck. Our table ran a little down hill and I do not suggest you lean on the extremely shaking rails on the deck over looking the turtle pond. It was obvious quiet quickly the deck needs work. Lighting inside as well as out is not adequate at all. I get the whole rustic low light vibe but when there's not enough light to even tell if your dipping into butter or sour cream you need a little more. Upon receiving our menu we were all quiet disappointed to realize they didn't even serve lobster anything! Nor did they even have beef tips on the menu. So why are both of this items on their Fb page when they do not serve them? I mean come on I made a 5 hour round trip for lobster! So I thought maybe I'd get chicken or pasta.... wrong! They didn't offer either of those. It was strictly Steak, hamburger, or very SELECT seafood dishes. However they do bring out small little bowls of greens and a basket of hush puppies to eat while waiting on your food. Both were absolutely delicious! They have great sweet tea as well. Warning: when ordering if you do not like imitation crab meat on your salad tell them! All salads are brought out with a clump of this on top of it. No thank you! They really should warn people. We were expecting a regular garden type salad of possibly lettuce tomatoes and such. No tomatoes either. Just lettuce cheese and a clump of imitation crab. Not good for those in our family who do not eat seafood. So please consider having wait staff give customers a heads up on that one. My son had the largest Ribeye and was very pleased. My daughter had the smaller one and unfortunately it was more fat than steak. My Mother had fried oysters and she said they were great and cooked perfectly. Overall... the place is ok. It's unusual and quirky and a bit shabby but there's as many positives I guess as there are negatives. It is highly overpriced for the quality and selection they offer. But we did have a wonderful waitress who served us all very well. Oh, and as we were waiting on our food two raccoons appeared right beside our table to eat what looked like dog food. They were very cute and in no way aggressive. The kids loved them. So, if you're looking for an unusual adventure this place may be for you but DO NOT pay any attention to their Facebook! It's totally misleading in every way and had I know I would have never dragged my family 2 1/2 hours there and another 2 1/2 back! So basically with tip I was out 275.00 for a less than what was expected meal.

Stopped in for coffee and deserts. Everything was good, but service was slow. Bathrooms could have been cleaner, however they do share them with gas station in the building. I would return.
