The food has gotten better. There have been a number of times where we were sadly disappointed, but it seems that they have turned it around. There are better Bar-B-Que places, but Squealer's is worth a try. The deserts, however, are always spot on. The jar deserts and the pecan pie are great. Go for the food, but get the desert.

Business associate and I ate lunch here today. Tried the beef ribs plate with two sides. The ribs were tasty but I was disappointed in the lack of meatiness of the ribs and the chewy texture. The BBQ sauce is very good. Next time I will try the pork ribs. The Lima beans and field peas were excellent. Corn muffin was good. I was too full to try the homemade cake options but they looked really tasty. The sweet tea is Sweet! Very friendly service from the owner. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Situated inside a gas station. They look to be using a gas powered smoker. Servings were incredibly large. Pulled pork (the special) and cole slaw were restaurant standard, and the greens distinctly salty in taste. This part of the meal was strictly average, but we gave it 4 stars because of the banana pudding. It was outstanding, and so ridiculously large that a single serving would challenge four adults. With all the leftovers, the $30 bill worked out to $15 a meal for two. If you are passing through Meridian, this is a reasonable dining option.

The truck is gorgeous, unfortunately the BBQ was burnt to the point of being unchewable and everything was cold (not cool, or room temperature, but cold).
