Pompeii Pizzeria

This is my first visit. Saw this place while visiting another business. It’s an order at counter, pay first and then have your order delivered to your table type of place. The pizzas are really good. The crust is made fresh (not frozen as several other places), the ingredients are of good quality. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because when you ask for something extra on your pizza, you may not get it (e.g. extra basil) and because you get charged for ordering a tiny side of Parmesan. Finally, be aware that if you go on a Friday night, you may have to wait for a table to open up. All things considered, though, definitely recommended.

The last two times I ordered pizza for delivery there were problems. The first time, it arrived and hour late and it was cold. I called the manager and she asked for another chance and gave me a coupon for a free pizza. The next time, I ordered two pizzas and when they were delivered, they were not what I ordered. I called to let them know and was told I would be contacted by the manager the next day. That never happened. Disappointed.

Andys has the best pizza in the area in my opinion. The prices are comparable to other places but the taste of Andys is a step above the others.

A freak snow storm on Minneapolis had us pull over to stay in Monticello. We didn't want to go out so ordered pizza to our room. May have been the worst pizza ever had. And the wings were undercooked swimming in soup.

Was staying at the Super 8 opposite with my wife as part of a Mid-West road trip. A 2 minute walk from my room, the lady who served me was pleasant and helpful and the pizza was absolutely delicious.

I work next door so we have more Little Caesars than the average person. The staff is always courteous (especially Chaz). Sometimes, they will even run a pizza down to us instead of waiting for it. Best deal is the $5.00 lunch - Deep dish pizza and 16oz soda!

Have had their pizza many times, and overall the pizza is tasty, but very expensive for the area. Downtown Minneapolis prices in rural Big Lake, with minimal difference between other local and chain thin crust pizza places. The service has been very poor at best, with rude and innatentive over the phone service. We try to give the benefit of the doubt to our local places and give them 3-4 chances to right a wrong, but we continued to be relentlessly dissapointed despite complaints (which I rarely do). Several times, I can only describe the pizza as to have been shaken in the box, just destroyed. It has been usual to wait much, much (double) longer than told for your pizza. They have refused several delivery orders for us much before closing time. It just seems poorly run, overpriced, and unfriendly. To bad because the pizza could be great! We're very sorry that you had bad experiences with the prior owners. We see your last visit was May 2012, and we took over in June 2012. The other review is indicative of our high commitment to satisfying our customers. We hope you would decide to give us a chance to provide you with the excellent service that you deserve. Jeff
