Little Angie's Cantina And Grill

A visit to this exciting Tex Mex atmosphere isn't dangerous, but it's a whole lot spicier than your everyday life. It's not too hot, mind ya, it's just full of flavor! Little Angie's Cantina is the kind of place where the food is so fresh it's sizzling at

Had not been here for a long time, stopped in for dinner and was surprised to discover chips and salsa were extra (odd at a Mexican Restaurant). We are again surprised that the chips were cold and out of a bag and the salsa, while tasty was limited. Overall, the food was ok at best, though service was fine. The next time I get to Duluth, I will not plan on eating here again. Drinks on the deck in good weather, maybe. Hello Torrin,Thank you very much for your business and for taking the time to share your review. I apologize for the chips and salsa issue. Our chips should always be served fresh and warm and I will be using this as an opportunity to reinforce that expectation for our staff. Thanks again and I do hope you will give us another chance to take care of you at the level we typically do. Sincerely,Sandy K

This is a very nice and friendly blend of sports bar and a pub. Unfortunately the food didn’t live up to the atmosphere. The margaritas were watered down and sweet, the chips just ok and the taco salad came without the promised chipotle dressing. Even after procuring some it was only slightly better and quite dry. The one high point was the fat boy carnitas burrito which was great. Go for the burritos and leave the rest behind

This restaurant may have a nice view but it fails in food taste and quality , first the salsa is like water and tomato’s , no taste, than I ordered chimichanga vegetarian and they bright it with jalapeños in it , which gave me a heart burn and even the vegetables in chimichanga were stale, the price is right the food is not up to standard May be it was one experience to me , so if you like than you can try it out one time

Qdoba Mexican Grill

Reviewed By 8thgrader2015

QdobaQdoba is near the bluestone apartments and St.Scholastica Health and Science Center and neighbors with Chilly Billy’s Frozen Yogurt. This restaurant is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Duluth because of how fast it is, and great for all the college kids because they have free wifi. The first thing that I notice when I walk in is that there are two entrances. The entrance that I am walking through has a room about 10ft by 10ft that has a men’s and women’s bathroom, easy access to be able to wash your hands before you eat. Then I walk into the main restaurant area where I see four small tables with two or three chairs at each. To the right of that is a horse shoe booth that has three tables with chairs on the other side. Once I go past that, to the right there is a long glass food bar with workers on the other side making the food like Subway. To the left is a counter with silverware and napkins and lemons, limes, and tea with a full Coca Cola pop machine. Then in front of that is four tables behind that is another horse shoe booth that curves around the horseshoe with chairs and with a table in the middle. The atmosphere of Qdoba is usually pretty calm until about 4:30 when most of the college kids get out of the school, and then it can get a little louder. They do have music playing in the restaurant, and the music is a mixture between mid-speed tempo and calm tempo. It’s very mellow, and the calm brightness of lights is good for being able to read things. The colors on the wall or tan and brown. All the seats are a brown leather For the seats around the far horseshoe which are cushion seats, but all the other seats are wooden, and they are a dark wood and tan. There are also lights with glass covering them, and they are mixed in with hockey sticks that are hanging down between the glass bulbs. The food choices for Qdoba are Knockout tacos $3.50, burrito (wrapped or in a bowl) $8.00, loaded tortilla soup $8.40-$10.40, 3-cheese nachos 8.40-10.40, grilled quesadilla $7.80-$10.40, taco salad (shell or bowl) $7.80-$10.40, kids’ meals l4.30,chips & dip $4.00, soups and sides $2.00, dessert $1.00-$1.70, drinks.$1.90-$2.30. To get my food, all I have to do is walk through the line and tell the worker what I want (flour burrito, steak, pinto beans, sour cream, and cheddar cheese). The taste of my food is very good because it has the mixture of flavours between the cheese and sour cream and the slightly spicy steak and the flour tortilla. Personal experiences with this restaurant has been very good; it has been one of my main places to hang out with friends. It has also been a great place for me to do homework. Since I've been going there for about two years after school, I have had nothing wrong with my food and nothing wrong with service. If you like Mexican, then this is the restaurant for you. This is also a great place for kids that need to do homework and need good Wifi. The people there are friendly, and it's just a short distance from Holy Rosary School. The rating for the restaurant I would give a nine because the food is great except on some days there is a long line, but overall this restaurant is very good.
