I moved to the Twin Cities 17 years ago and Fat Lorenzo's was the first place recommended to me. It has never failed to disappoint. Old School, small restaurant in south Minneapolis... with oodles of character.... you can smell the place down the street... I love the Italian salad... the pizza is large slice... the spaghetti and lasagna are superb .... I have used Fats to cater several family events - plentiful and very affordable.

Ordinary food, inattentive service, high priced wine, overall wouldnât bother to return. Honestly, better food and service at an Olive Garden than here. I was pleased that the pizza could be delivered to our hotel since we were too tired to go out. When it came though it was lopsided and kind of mushy. To be fair we got three toppings on a thin crust. The tomato sauce was excellent on the pizza though.

We were in town to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were in search of a casual environment & hubby was in mood for Italian. We wanted more farm to table/in-house made too. Red Rabbit checked all the boxes and more. Super food, creative menu to lightly challenge your palette. Excellent drinks, beer, & wine offerings. Canât say enough good things. Wait staff was incredibly attentive - specifically Drew who was first class!! Relaxed environment.

We had reservations on a Friday night, were seated as soon as we arrived. Our waiter was attentive, but not the friendliest I've met. The two first courses we ordered were just ok - pretty bland honestly. Martini was so-so. Homemade pastas were delicious. I'm glad we tried it, but we will go back to our usual. The place is very cool but insanely loud.

If you want authentic Italian food with good service, then Broders will not disappoint. The pastas are made in house daily and both entrees we had ( linguine with clams and linguine with Parma ham) were well prepared, nicely presented and delicious. Save room for deserts, they were fabulous also. The restaurant is busy, but get there either early or late because they do not take reservations.

Our first trip to Minneapolis and we were looking for a nice restaurant close to our hotel. The Twins had just clinched a playoff spot, and we hit a HOMRUN with Zelo! We made a reservation and were seated in the beautifully decorated dining room. There were 3 adults in our party. The homemade lemonade was a delicious refreshing beverage choice. 2 of us chose the salmon âspecialâ which was served with fresh tomato and gnocchi. It was the lightest fluffiest gnocchi I had ever tasted. The basil oil gave it a savory flavor that was superb! The spaghetti and meatballs were magnificent. The thing I really liked about the menu is that it appealed to all of our tastes. So much variety! If we ever get back to Minneapolis, I will visit Zelo again!

Though I'm an old man and still enjoy a simple red sauce and pepperoni pizza, I do enjoy my visits to Pizzeria Lola. They have some great flavor combinations - interesting without being "precious." The Korean slant adds a fun dimension. Good food - nice place!
