Was excited to hear there were new owners, but the food is not reflecting it. We are close and have eaten here many times, but the quality and quantity of food has taken a hit.

Diner food at it's best. We showed up with 8 people. The server quickly found us a table. She took our drink orders and waited while us out of towners got familiar with menu. Everything looked good. Everyone was pleased with their meals. The turtle cheesecake was AWESOME! My husband did the hamburger and fry challenge and won. He said his pie was delicious.

This is 1 of 3 Coney Island restaurants in Monroe and we stopped in for breakfast, They have breakfast specials available before 11 a.m. - see below. I ordered the Farmer’s Omelet – mushroom, ham, onion, green peppers with the tomatoes on the side for $5.99. It came with hash browns and I was able to substitute 1 pancake in place of the potatoes. My omelet was big and had a lot of filling and the pancake was very good too – fluffy and not dry. My husband got the Hungry Man breakfast – 3 eggs, 2 sausage patties, 2 strips of bacon, a slice of ham, hash browns and rye toast for $5.25. The price for this breakfast changes depending on the day of the week and the time of day – it is $5.25 before 11 during the week except on holidays and after 11 it is $5.80 and $5.80 on Saturday and Sunday. The portions are large and you can't beat the price. We had great service too. There is plenty of parking available since this restaurant in located in a strip mall.

What can I say about this place horrible,sad,nightmare.. our waitress/cook really needs to find a new line of work. Our order was simple scrambled eggs hash browns sausage bacon and pancakes. Got eggs over easy, we got a mixture of wheat pancakes & regular pancakes. with some reddish stuff in mine. When we told the waitress she brought back eggs that someone threw in a pan in a pan to scramble them, but they look like a brunt omelet just nasty. Then we had No silverware & when she finally brought it our silverware was dirty, the syrup bottle was dirty. The Best advice stay away from this place before you catch botulism or food poisoning. Our experience was bad. I definitely will never eat there again. They did remove 3bucks for the bad experience like really?.

Been seeing their specials on Facebook and wanted to give them a try. Kept seeing on Friday that they have a fish fry. So decided to give it a try. They don't start serving dinner specials until 3pm roughly. We had the AUCE fish dinners. It comes with three pieces of fish, a choice of potatoes fries, baked , or mashed. Choice of soup, salad, or Cole slaw. Also a choice of corn or green beans. The meal came with a bread basket as well. I had the fish, chicken noodle soup, fries, and green beans. The wife had the fish, baked potato, salad, and green beans. I really enjoyed the soup and the fries the most. The first fish tasted really good with our meal. The second batch seemed different to me, or it may have been seeing the cook grab the fish out of the fryer basket with his bare hands and put it on our plates. Not sure but was different to me. See attached pictures.
