We have stopped here many times, sometimes eating inside and other just ordering for take-out. Sandwiches/soups are always good and delivered within minutes of ordering.

The BEST in the trial county area. The freshest, most delicious, deli you will ever find. Carry out only but well worth it.Besides the regular deli fare try the vegetarian chop liver, smoked whitefish spread, and scrumptious bundt cake.

I'm visiting in the Detroit area and wanted a high-quality corned beef sandwich and a whole salami to take with me when I fly out in a couple of days. Stage Deli is by far the best choice for this. If I was just rating the food, this would be a 5-star rating. But the rating is for the overall experience, not just for the quality of the food. Prices are a bit high at $15 for the sandwich, and $15 per pound ($30+ for a standard-sized salami) for the salami. I got those at the take out counter, then was given the bill to take to the register. On the bill was included recommended tips to be added at my choosing. I fully understand and agree with tipping a server when dining in a restaurant, but this was a takeout order. The person behind the counter prepared and wrapped the sandwich, and merely wrapped the whole salami in paper before placing both in a paper bag. Asking another $9-10 for a tip for this level of service on a takeout order strikes me as excessive. The prices are high to begin with, and suggesting tip levels on a takeout order should not be their practice. If I was in the area again though, and wanted the same food, I would definitely return to Stage Deli for my purchase. There aren't any choices in the area that even come close in quality.Thank you for sharing Barry. We are tickled that you enjoyed our food! This Farmington institution is just straight up old school good food. They baked their own buns (delish) Ingredients are all fresh and natural. Soups are one of the best deals in town (I like the bean & ham). Spotless, friendly and a little nostalgic for the best of yesterday.

Col's Place is a great little restaurant at the corner of Middlebelt & Gramd River Ave. Family owned and operated. Everyone is very friendly. You get great service. Delicious food that is always fresh.
