TGI Fridays

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, "to meet Pan Am stewardesses." Sud

I stopped in this TGIF location while passing through. The food was typical of other TGIF locations, and was okay; but the French Onion soup tasted watered down. However, Andrew, Annette, and the rest of the staff were friendly and top notch. They were kind to my rabbit. I would definitely stop in here again, if ever in the area. Two rabbit ears up!! When I entered Logan’s Roadhouse near Great Lakes Crossing I was positively surprised to see some peanut shells on the floor. To me this brought back memories of the famous Raffles‘ bar in Singapore. I was seated with no waiting time at all. The waitress was really polite, competent and helpful. Two thumbs up.The enterieur is mainly wood, like a barn and there is a powerful aircondition which is really capable of cooling-down the place on a hot summer‘s day.For myself, being a good eater, the portion was way too small. My son went for a fowling birthday party. They have many lanes for fowling, and also offer as throwing-18 years and older. I hung out with my daughter and bought a game card. There is a game room with racing, basketball hoops, and other traditional machine games. We played a few round is air hockey-we for 4 games for $10.00. Although my son liked the pizza served at his party they don't have any vegan items and very limited on vegetarians. They offered one veggie wrap (no ingredients liated) and a veggie burger. There is no I gradients listed other than item of the fish such as "veggie wrap" you have to ask what is one each and every sandwich, burger and appetizer-wierd. With all the food allergies it is off. If I'd give it a 5 star if they could improve the menu since the games are not cheap! They offer catering for large groups and have several specials rooms for groups in the 10-12 size.Thank you for the review EricaDH. We appreciate you coming in and sharing your experience. We understand your concerns about the ingredient list and will look into adding this to our menus. We hope to see you again in the future. I recently went to bar Louie for dinner before a movie. The wait was long 6:20-7:30. There were tables open but it appeared either tgexwIt staff was slow or they were missing completely. It felt like they just didn’t have enough people working. Consequently although my server was very nice; tables were slow and the kitchen was backed up. I did thank and tip my waitress well for her efforts. The manager apologized for the slow service and undercooked meal. They have the best intentions but this is not the dependable place it was in the past. I feel that it had gone down hill in the last 24 but especially 12 months. I will not be going back. This was my third bad experience in 9 months.MatthewJL, we are incredibly sorry that we did not provide you a 5-Star experience during your past few visits. We appreciate your feedback and will work on improving in these areas. We hope to get a shot at impressing you in the future— afterall, we have the best Happy Hours in town!

Red Ox Tavern

An upscale sports restaurant & bar good for large groups, featuring outdoor seating & 40 beers on tap.

We took our granddaughter, who lives in Auburn Hills, there when she suggested it had good food. When we got there, we were impressed with atmosphere and welcoming appearance. There is a dining room side and a bar side that serves drinks and food. We sat on the bar side. They have a very good selection of food, ranging from burgers and fries to full entrée meals. The service was good, the food excellent, and the price very reasonable. My only regret is that I live in Royal Oak and the Red Ox tavern is about 15-20 miles away or I would go regularly.
