Stopped in for a few drinks Saturday night around 7:30. The place was pretty busy but we were seated quickly. Very social, loud atmosphere. Lots of televisions with several different sporting events which was good. They have Keno too which is always a plus for us. Drinks were reasonably priced, maybe a tad on high side, but didn't mind since atmosphere is nice and service is always great. Will be back again. Great stop for food and drink!

Enough for a happy hour.I was there twice during the week I stayed in Detroit and the restaurant really pleased me.Actually, there is no a large variety of foods on menu, on the other hand you can expect an amazing environment, good treatment by the waiter group and delicious Irish foods.Overall, it's really a kind of authentic British put placed at Van Dyke Avenue, which may offer a good option for happy hour.Thank you for the 4 star review. We appreciate your business and your comments. Word of mouth is our best advertisement. Join us for 1/2 off pizza every Monday 2 pm-midnight, Tuesday's $2 domestic bottles, Wednesday's $4 margarita's, Thursday's all glasses of wines $4, Friday's $5 bushmill's, Saturday's & Sunday's Prime Rib. Hope to see you soon. Laura

Small, crowded but with hard working staff and phone notifications for parties waiting. This is a fantastic restaurant for breakfast or lunch. Large portions and quality food and preparation. Very attentive staff filling coffee cups and clearing dishes. Not a place to read the Sunday paper, but perfect for people that enjoy conversation and great food.

Yummy for sure. We were a group of eleven and the service was very good as was our server--friendly & efficient. All of lunches were brought out in a timely manner. Portions were generous, even for lunch. Salmon, Reuben, Bistro steak and more were ordered and all were good as was the pea soup. Prices are reasonable, bathroom was clean.

Took out-of-town company here and had such a great meal, we went with other friends. Appetizers and meals were still very good, however ....... portions were considerably smaller. Just wondering ..... since there did seem to be more patrons there, are they going to give you less food for the same price now???

Went looking for a good burger and heard good things about the shamrock. Ordered cheese Sticks, cheese burger and fries. The cheese sticks served without marinara sauce. Who does that? Service was below average. Not once but 3 times our Waitress forgot our drinks. Burger was really food but served on paper plate with plastic utensils. Finally my friend ordered 3 mixed drinks and bartender measured out every one. Mostly coke. What type of Irish pub measures its drinks. Unacceptable. I won’t go back

We went there for a special occasion. I ordered fish and chips. I received three pieces of fish that were 2 inches long and 1 inch thick. My fish was Over crispy and my chips were burnt. My son ordered the same thing and his fish was overcooked and his chips were burnt. My husband enjoyed his chicken dish and was not hungry afterwards. My dish was 18 dollars And I was so hungry when I left this place. I couldn’t eat the chips because they were burnt and the fish was heavily battered and like I said it was 2 inches long by 1 inch thick and I receive three pieces. For a total of 6 inches of fish. Lots of my friends have gone here and they raved about how good it was. I however was totally disappointed. The best part about this meal was the waitress she was excellent.

We had just arrived in the area and had had an early flight. Needed coffee and food badly. The Pantry was recommended by our hotel front desk. This place was fabulous. Don't let the long line out the door deter you. The wait is quick. The food was excellent with very large portions. The bottomless cup of coffee was one of the best I have had in a long time. And the service? Top notch and friendly from the minute you walk in the door. Loved Lisa. Don't miss this place. It's a keeper! We will definitely be returning within the week we are here.
