My wife and I both had Fish and Chips for lunch today. After enjoying this meal at several different restaurants on the Cape, we looked forward to enjoying this meal here. Unfortunately for us, not to be. Very bland. Lacked taste.Would have given them a 2 or 3 star rating, but chose the one star because the waiter was very disrespectful by doing his best to avoid answering questions about Provincetown itself. The lady at the next table felt bad for us, after he did his best to avoid answering our questions, that she answered them. Worst waiter we’ve come across in over 15 years of traveling.

We visited JD’s/Saki over our long weekend getaway to Ptown and enjoyed both happy hour and dinner on the deck bar. Happy hour oysters were delicious and very obviously well priced at happy hour. The drinks were also reasonably priced for the downtown area. We enjoyed some sushi as well which was delicious. We enjoyed ourselves not once but twice the same weekend at JDs and are a fan of the fresh food, reasonable menu prices and attentive bar tenders and staff. When we visit the area again we will definitely be back!

Johnny Thai Bistro

I was part of a group of six who decided to have dinner at Johnny Thai Bistro. In summary, it was almost 'very good'. We were greeted and seated immediately, without a reservation, at a large comfortable booth. Our server arrived almost immediately and then the confusion began. Ordering six cocktails was a comedy of errors. It required several attempts to convey to the server the simple order a four glasses of wine and two cocktails. After placing our order we literally chuckled for about 10 minutes about what had transpired. The glasses of wine arrived one by one; each time with the server asking who had ordered what. We then gave the server our order and the same confusion occurred. Happily our food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. It wasn't the best Thai food I have ever had, but it was very good. Prices are a bit high but, this is a resort town and i know that the owning a restaurant here is costly. Servings are generous, the food is quite good and the service, while confusing, was friendly. The restaurant is better than 'average' but a bit below 'very good'. The bar is very active and loud which would not be conducive to a romantic dinner.
