The sandwiches here are amazing and the service is excellent. The past three times I have been here, the owner has personally come to my table and offered me a cookie on the house. Amazing service and great food. And you must try the chicken salad; it is amazing!

Slow service! We used to love coming here on Sunday mornings. Very inconsistent now. It took about 10 minutes before all of our food was brought to the table. Potatoes weren't ready and pancakes were undercooked. Very disappointing.

First time visitors as we explore our surrounding area for some good places to eat. There's nothing like a real diner for a great breakfast. We are only upset we didn't try it sooner.Service was amazing, food was great, coffee was good and price was perfect. Will recommend it to anyone and we will certainly be back soon.

It had been a while since I've been to Specialteas, but it was just as good as ever. We went on a hot autumn day, and the iced teas were refreshing, and it was a lovely place to sit and chat for a slow lunch. Our food was excellent. Service was fine. The setting perfect. We were mystified by the "Oatmeal Pie" on the dessert menu, but it was a nut-less pecan pie, crunchy on top, with sweet goodness on the bottom. It was just a moment on the lips, but I will never forget my first taste of Oatmeal Pie!

Ordered the brisket platter and made the mistake of asking for both slices and burnt ends. It came all burnt ends which was some meat and mostly bark with fat instead of meat. Waitress, who never came around after she brought the food, didnât seem to care. Sides are really meager. Not sure I will return.

$36, 16oz. Ribeye; the king Of steaks due to its tenderness and flavor. Mine was tough as leather and lacked taste. $36!!!!The fried calamari was limp and tough; likely over cooked. The tiny âLobster Bombâ was at $18, a Bust! The truffle fries were priced at âonlyâ $6.95 and there was a reason... nothing to write home about!!!...and the Brussels sprouts were undercooked.It literally took over 30 years for us to try this place; rated #1 in Shrewsbury...REALLY??!!!... Who the heck is rating this place??!!The other patrons seemed to be loving it!What the heck!!Never again!!

Monday Raw Bar... $1 Oysters and Shrimp is a real draw. Get there early so they don't run out... had plenty at 7pm tonight. My pepperoni pizza was very good as well. Marlo, our waitress, provided fantastic service... she aims to please.

Delicious Greek salad with grilled chicken. Chicken is grilled with some olive oil, salt and pepper. Very fresh! I have meant to try this place for a long time. I finally did and wasn't disappointed! Will be back!

Just a happy Wednesday, we were visiting consignment shops and dropped in for a quick lunch. Both of us ordered burgers, which can be dangerous, as HE likes his medium, and I like mine well well done with no bun. Both plates arrived with food perfectly cooked, the fries were AWESOME, hot and crispy!

This restaurant is excellent. The food is cooked to perfection and very tasty. The portions are large also--good value for the money. I ordered chicken with mashed potatoes and salad--very good. Our server was very pleasant and cordial --and efficient. Overall, an excellent restaurant.
