After Lisa & Barbara, left several years ago it has been a steady downward spiral for this once excellent Gourmet stop.Most of the time they seem to have their heads "where the sun don't shine", especially when it comes to SHIVA MEALS. You can not not believe how SCREWED UP they are...missing items... late deliveries....spoiled food and the list goes on.And OVERPRICED ...they give new meaning to the word.Go out the road to "The GOURMET GIRLS-Lisa & Barbara" and see what GOURMET really means & a nice nice couple of gals too.

We go to Lenny's for classic deli favorites, like hot pastrami sandwiches, reubens, and whitefish salad. For these kinds of food, Lenny's is outstanding -- you can talk to the cooks as they're assembling your food and tell them exactly what you do and don't want on your sandwich or whether you want it grilled or heated in an oven. The eating area is nicer than it used to be since they replaced all the tables, but this is a casual eatery with paper plates, plastic cutlery, and no ambiance.

Miller's Deli was an early evening stop for some deli after a business appointment. We intended to try their corned beef and ending up ordering some "junk food" to go along with it. The corned beef was good, lean and of ample quantity. Not overstuffed like most corned beef places used to be...but ample. The fries and onion rings ( our junk food) were a bit greasy and overcooked. That is why we don't order them that often. They could have been much better.
