Worst experience
Reviewed By lonnawilsonI have stayed at this hotel every two years since they opened in 2000. It has really gone down hill. I will not be back. Cob webs in the lights. Windows we’re filthy. Trying to have a glass of wine in the lobby I had to fight to keep the knats out of my drink.

Reviewed By S DWe needed a room for one night. Big room, big bathroom. Tub with shower. Large dressing area. AC worked. Had WI FI, tv, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker. Managers friendly. Parking right in front of door. A seafood restaurant a little over 2 miles away.

Great Disappointment
Reviewed By omeyersiiiWell, I'll start with the ok - reasonable price for the area (rural Louisiana). As I walked into the small bedroom hotel, I was greeted by several other guest scampering across the floor - roaches. The bed covers/comforters was covered with stains. Thank God I didn't have a black light with me. The towels had a dingy yellowish color (I guess they were white at some point and time). The bed was comfortable. However, I couldn't sleep worrying about the free range bugs in the room and thinking whether there was anything else in the bed. So really no sleep. They advertise a breakfast with the room. As you arrive, the sign and posting say "continental breakfast." In reality, they have a pot of coffee and some old package blueberry muffins. It looked as though they had a container of orange juice which turned to be orange drink (more Ike a koolaid). There is a microwave and small referigerator in the room. Let's just say I was counting the hours until a departed the place (only stayed one night).

The hotel is family operated, which gives our customers an ease of mind knowing they will get the best service possible. The hotel is newly remodeled with all brand new rooms and is situated on the outskirts of Lake Toledo Bend, amidst historical and state commemorative monuments.

Reviewed By Gareth MThe exterior of the motel needed substantial attention. The room had been remodeled and upgraded. The results were excellent. Quite, clean and comfortable room. Reasonable pricing and served our purpose, good room for sleep and rest.
