A fabulous place for all the senses
Reviewed By craigologyWe wanted to stay here but the rooms were already booked. That speaks volumes to begin with. Instead we decided to make the drive to Domaine Des Peyre to do a wine tasting. We definitely made the right choice. Hugo was our man. He was friendly, helpful and completely brilliant from start to finish. He knew the wines, he knew the vineyard and he knew the back story of the label, the brand and the entirety of the world he was surrounded by, including the wonderful art works. This place is just a feast for your senses, from the gorgeous design of the tasting room, the wine branding, the bar and the leather sofas. To the blue skies, the healthy vines and the works of art scattered around. So much care and attention has been given to create an experience that you’ll remember. Of course, we didn’t leave empty handed. After such a great experience, we took home some luscious wines which were a welcome reward from such a remarkable place… all thanks to Hugo being Hugo ?

Beautiful Gites in a wonderful setting. Owners who could not be more welcoming. Pool, small playground and space for the kids to run around. The location. Is beautiful, quiet and relaxed. It is a bit of a drive to get to anywhere but that is the trade off for the peace and quiet. As a valid point, we have been before, we have come back and we WILL be back again. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

The spot stays fantastic, the food is ok but simpel, and if you come 3 times one after the other , the menu stays more or less the same, service fine.. would go back, young people who make the best out of it and really very nice to spend one of those beautiful summer evenings

Free of all clichés, you can relax here, away from the hustle and bustle, facing The Petit Luberon. Nestled in its 3 hectare estate, the grounds invite guests to enjoy a total change of scenery. The garden is an oasis of flowers and hundred-year-old trees, alongside a swimming pool and water features to offer a haven of peace with the scent of Provence. Offering several spaces that combine intimacy, conviviality and comfort, this guest house boasts a Provençal decor, from which emerges an atmosphere so personal that it gives the impression of being at home, or at least at the home of friends.
Lovely Bastide
Reviewed By GuanAGLWe spent three nights in this lovely place converted from an old Bastide and outbuildings set a short walk from the centre of Lourmarin. Having mixed expectations from the previous reviews we were delighted. The buildings and garden are charming, very simple, the right side of natural. particularly delightogardens which have a formal structure but not at all coiffed. Bravo to the gardeners and garden designer. We stayed in the Grange which was converted from an outbuilding. It is in simple rustic minimal style. A little dark but lots of downstairs space. Upstairs the facilities are quite intimate so may suit a family more than friends. Well equipped kitchen with laundry. Excellent and lovely stone pool. Free bicycles. The management is light touch, helpful if asked but generally leave you to a peaceful time. We didn’t have breakfast as the shops and bakery were 5 -10 minutes walk away and we were allowed free use of the terrace tables for meals. Altogether a wonderful place in a lovely part of Provence.

Our stone built apartment included: outside patio, living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen with upscale appliances, separate bedroom & bathroom. Also A/C, heated swimming pool, parking on site but NO Wi-Fi due to isolated location.

A hamlet of 4 beautiful villas - The Bastide, The Mas, The Cottage and The Little House - set in the heart of The Luberon. Each villa has its own private pool and garden. We are within walking distance of the small village of Joucas which has a shop and simple bistro and then 10 minutes drive from the famous hilltop village of Gordes.

Reviewed By WKJCWe have had a wonderful stay at ‘The cottage, even though the cottage might be the smallest on the property, we had enough space with 4 adults and two small girls.The house is nicely decorated and bedrooms are the comfiest. The girls had a blast in the garden, running around and having fun in the pool. The outside patio is so comfortable for outside lunch and/or dinner and to have a nice view over the garden.at the same time The property is very well maintained and the gardens are a green oasis, which makes it so intimate and cosy. Next to this, the Luberon area is beautiful, so many nice villages with so many lovely and good restaurants. Last but not least Rosemarie and Nick are the kindest hosts. All in all this makes it so relaxing and comfortable all you need for a perfect holiday!

A comfortable and quiet home
Reviewed By Schlauberger1846We stayed here for a week in September and really liked the location and our apartment. We spent a lot of time outside on our covered patio, especially in the morning and the evening, and liked having a kitchen and refrigerator. Parking is impossible in Gordes, so staying just outside the village obviates that irritation. The walk to Gordes is uphill, but not tiring, and we enjoyed the market and restaurants in Gordes. Every day we drove to other villages in Provence, visiting over twenty before we reluctantly left Provence. We would stay here again and highly recommend the Domaine Les Bastidons apartments.

Reviewed By lreichelWe have traveled the world and stayed in 5 star hotel to family homes. This so called b&b was the worst place we have ever stayed. No water in our room or in the community kitchen. No refrigeration, no ice. None of this even phased us. The horrible owners we so mean and so rude!! We had paid for two nights and cut our losses after one night. Honestly so rude we just left. Many many beautiful places to stay in Bonnieux. Do not let these rude people ruin your experience. Just stay any place else.

Wonderful B&B, gorgeous grounds and great hostess
Reviewed By Crisma72The B& B is situated in the middle of the countryside having wonderful grounds and views. It has about 4 bungalows with pool, table tennis and a kitchen to store food or cook your own meals. Rooms are lovely and clean, bathroom spacious, parking grounds huge. Very close (5 mins) to Gordes Old Town where you can eat at Rosario's for good value. Isabelle is a wonderful hostess and accomodating - she speaks a little English and we managed to communicate. Highly recommended - both as a base to explore the region or simply staying there and passing time relaxing.
