Albasha Greek and Lebanese Cafe

A run-of-the-mill chain Greek place. Food not bad, but not solidly good either. Although our meals here were better than the meals we had at the Albasha in Covington, the food still leaves a lot to be desired. The chicken Shawarma pitta on the whole was moist and tasty, but the meat itself was a dry. All the moisture came from the yoghurt. My wife’s Shawarma plate, without the yoghurt, revealed the true nature of the chicken—cold and dry. Service was fast and friendly, and the place was clean. But there are probably better places to eat.

Ok, so he doesn't bake his own pita. But everything is fresh, yummy and good for you.If that is not enough, there is the customer service. He has that easy manner of someone who loves what he does and his customers. Chatting you up while he prepares your food. Come back in a month, he will remember you and the conversation. A gyro meal with hummus and salad, 2nd gyro to take home to my wife. Power aid. 10$ he frequently has special deals. Sometimes he makes unique meals. Like Mediterranean Meatballs. This is a favorite lunch spot. I go here whenever I am in the area. Come join me
