The town is known for its natural environment, and is called "City of roses" (Spanish: La Ciudad de las rosas). Panguipulli is located on the western edge of Panguipulli Lake, and is on a moraine in the Chilean Central Valley. Most of the commune lies on Andean mountains and valleys.

Almorzamos mientras viajábamos y es una excelente opción. Los sándwiches y ensaladas deliciosos y abundantes. Y los vanos impecable. Además muy bonito el lugar. A really wonderful surprise. We stopped en-route and everything was tasty and plentiful. Plus the bathroom are sterling. And the setting is very nice.

Fui con un amigo, la atención estuvo buena. Pedà un crudo, pero llegó la carne puesta en el pan y en un pocillo aparte la cebolla, pickles, salsas y limón, es decir no es posible mezclar las cosas, sólo pueden poner encima, lo que va en contra de como se come un crudo.
