Panguipulli (/ˌpæŋɡiˈpuːji/ PANG-gee-POO-yee; Mapudungun for "hill of the puma") is a city and commune in Valdivia Province, southern Chile, administered by the Municipality of Panguipulli. The town is known for its natural environment, and is called "City of roses" (Spanish: La Ciudad de las rosas). Panguipulli is located on the western edge of Panguipulli Lake, and is on a moraine in the Chilean Central Valley. Most of the commune lies on Andean mountains and valleys.

VenÃamos de un largo viaje y pasamos ya que de afuera se ve bastante bonito y no nos equivocamos ... buena atención pedimos dos chorrillanas deliciosas y la comimos entre cuatros más un niño y la verdad quedamos bastante bien, la comida no se demoro mucho y los café menos, solo que estaba un poco frÃo el local pero todo lo demás bien !

Supimos por unos amigos de este nuevo lugar camino a Coñaripe, bastante cercano a Panguipulli. Es una antigua escuela parroquial que estaba abandonada y fue totalmente refaccionada y habilitada como tienda de antiguedades y cafeterÃa. Desde que uno llega, el edificio tiene su encanto con su torreón y bebederos en la entrada del estacionamiento. La tienda es preciosa con antiguedades y artesanÃas de variadas partes del mundo, especialmente chilenas. Todo puesto con encanto y mucho gusto!!! Ademas su dueño y quienes atienden muy acogedores y agradables!! Ibamos de pasada, pero nos tomamos un cafe y nos comimos un brownie que estaba exquisito. La especialidad son los sandwiches. Quedaron pendientes para otra vez!!!

este fue el descubrimiento del viaje, caminando en panguipulli buscando algo para almorzar encontramos este restorán cerca del centro, entramos sin grandes expectativas y casi nos vamos para atrás como condorito al proba la comida, increÃble!. los productos super frescos y del lugar, y se nota el amor que ponen en su preparación. yo pedà el cebiche de trucha, y pablo trucha frita con puré, el que era de papa. muy buena opción, recomendable para los que van a la cuidad. no es un gran restaurant ni fino, pero vale la pena ir

This homely restaurant has THE BEST (and biggest) empanadas in Chile. Everything is made-to-order, from scratch so itâs super fresh and the filling possibilities are endless. The juices and tea are equally fresh, the latter coming as a combination of fresh leaves/ginger/lemons/honey etc. Owner and family were all there too and told us about the restaurantâs history, and also gave us helpful local information. I canât recommend it enough!

The bartender here made the best (and most beautiful) pisco sours we had anywhere and the food was excellent. Another plus was that they kindly tolerated our poor Spanish language skills. Would definitely recommend a meal or two here!

Almorzamos mientras viajábamos y es una excelente opción. Los sándwiches y ensaladas deliciosos y abundantes. Y los vanos impecable. Además muy bonito el lugar. A really wonderful surprise. We stopped en-route and everything was tasty and plentiful. Plus the bathroom are sterling. And the setting is very nice.

Restaurant Marisol is managed by her owner and family. It has a good selection of chilean food. Highly recommended "porotos con riendas" (beans with spagetti). A must if you visit lovely Choshuenco! And do not forget to say hello to Tito, a sweet and lovely cat!

Paseando en familia nos encontramos con este pub. Hermoso lugar, rústico, buen ambiente, una terraza ideal. La atención cordial y amena. La comida cumplen muy bien, pizzas, tablas, quesadillas y sandwich. Tragos muy bien preparados y una larga lista de cervezas nacionales y artesanales. Un lugar que no te puedes perder si vas a Panguipulli.

A group of us tried three different selections from the menu, steak, salmon and vegetable curry. Each was excellent and service was good. To supplement this the views from the restaurant are excellent and the owner enthusiastic and very keen to please. While not a "fine" food restaurant the food is wholesome, well prepared and presented and the experience is excellent.
