The town is known for its natural environment, and is called "City of roses" (Spanish: La Ciudad de las rosas). Panguipulli is located on the western edge of Panguipulli Lake, and is on a moraine in the Chilean Central Valley. Most of the commune lies on Andean mountains and valleys.

Almorzamos mientras viajábamos y es una excelente opción. Los sándwiches y ensaladas deliciosos y abundantes. Y los vanos impecable. Además muy bonito el lugar. A really wonderful surprise. We stopped en-route and everything was tasty and plentiful. Plus the bathroom are sterling. And the setting is very nice.

Friendly enough service, but good was disappointing and portions small for what you expect in Chile. We ordered the cerviche which didn't taste entirely fresh and my daughter had the pesto pasta which was homemade and decent. Seemed Restaurant is more of a pizza joint , so perhaps better to opt for that if you visit.

Local grande con muchas mesas, cuenta con menús, la atención es rápida y personalizada, sin embargo, para el precio no tenÃa nada que lo destacara un almuerzo normal sin nada que sorprendiera.
