A visit to my childhood

Reviewed By eyeamduddits

Growing up in the 60's & 70's my family stayed at the Nelscott motel a couple times. Flash forward to last weekend my wife and I stayed at the Sandcastle. We had a great getaway , rockhounding the beach and eating amazing meals up and down the coast. Our king fireplace room was clean and met our needs. The parking lot is tight so finding room for our Ram pickup was a fun challenge ,but do-able.

Vintage Getaway

Reviewed By 333carol

My sister and I were in Lincoln City for a wedding. We enjoyed our experience in this restored, vintage motel. It was quite charming and still had the modern amenities we expect when travelling. The owner/managers were oh so gracious and available. We also liked that the location is very close to the beach and just a half block from an access point. If ever in or near Lincoln City in the future, we will definitely stay here again. And we recommend it to others.

Great place for oceanfront family vacation at the beach, with pool, hot tub, elevator

Reviewed By 503dtyler

Really enjoyed our stay at the Seahorse. Ocean front room with small balcony, nice kitchenette, comfortable beds. Private bedroom was a plus for the family. Used to pool and hot tub 5 times in three days. Kids loved both. Friendly office staff and cleaning staff - great attitudes. The room was a bit run down (some painting needed on the baseboards), but no real issue. Not fancy but location location location. There are stairs to the beach right next to the hotel, but know it’s 130 steps. Elevator in the building was helpful reaching our 4th floor room.

Credit Card Scam

Reviewed By mikefA3082BE

Sea Echo Motel charged my credit card 3 times, which we found out a couple hours after checkout, we called the Sea Echo and the person said they would reimburse our account, it’s been 4 days and they still have not done so, they do not answer my phone calls and the email is fake, be careful about staying there.

View great - very old - not worth 200 a night

Reviewed By L4040PBjackf

All these reviews are extremely OLD. We got a king bed bottom floor. View was great -room clean. But room was very small - 13” between bed and dresser and 6” on otherside of bed and wall - hard to get in . Electric breakers behind door were old style and rusted, heater on wall was rusted - wall outlets dark an loose does not hold a plug they fall out. Sliding door to outside ind NOT lock (latch was missing) wood dowel in track to “lock” door. Bathroom door , back side was missing vanier on bottom of door. Wood floor had gaps inbetween boards - not very well done.Pictures on website do not begin to show how small this room was. And the cost was OVER $200 a night - pick another hotel!!
