They are located at "Le Buisson de Cadouin", at half-way between Bergerac and Sarlat, at the center of land of the Bastides and at the entrance of the Black Perigord.Open from the 15th of March to the 15th of OctoberThere you will find a : * A Swimming pool of 9,5 by 4.5 meters * A Playground for the kids * A large garden with furnitures and shaded places.
A Wonderful Stay
Reviewed By Denise BMy modern and comfortable room located In the annex on this B&B's lovely and quiet property, allowed me to relax after a day touring the Dordogne. Each morning after a breakfast of croissants and freshly baked muffins, Jean Louis would help me plan my day and what sites to see. During my stay, I enjoyed a delicious evening meal prepared by Christine and served by Jean Louis, the most perfect butler. I so enjoyed their company and warm and friendly companionship which is what staying at a B&B is truly known for. I hope to return to visit my new friends sometime in the future.

Reviewed By BigsilkieI've stayed here many times and keep coming back. The owners Aurore & Thierry are kind and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble and, on arrival you are greeted with a cool glass of rose & a snack or two. There is a well-appointed kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge for use by guests in the four rooms. Usually most people go out to eat, so, as a self-caterer during the worst months of covid I usually had these facilities to myself. The bedrooms are comfortably appointed. The larger of the rooms has a corner bath with shower over, while the others have more a practical 'douche Italienne'. In the hot months you might find the smaller top floor room is a bit warm as it is in the roof space. Even in hot weather the rooms, which are not air conditioned, are quite cool due to the solid stonework of the ancient farm building. The property has lovely, spacious gardens which are private and quiet. Parking is in a private courtyard next to the owner's antique/Brocante centre. The owner's have two cats and a lively dog all are friendly and cute. (See photos) For dinner rather than go out there is an option to order dinner from the highly-rated local restaurant LAuberge l'Espérance and have it brought right to your table on the terrace at the hotel. Breakfast is a real event. (see phots) Starting with a delicious hot course the dishes keep on coming accompanied by fresh orange juice and hot drinks. Its a struggle to eat everything, so i often did a takeaway to enjoy at lunchtime, Aurore was always happy to accommodate this. One tip, if you give a time when you want your breakfast make sure you get down at that time as the hot dish is served when you say you'll be at the table

Beautiful property built in 1830, renovated and surrounded by a one hectare park with pond and pool. Quiet and friendly atmosphere, 100m from the Dordogne. Capucine room: queen size bed. Iris room: queen size bed separable into 2 single beds. Very spacious bathroom shared between these 2 bedrooms. Parental suite : queen size bed, bathroom and private terrace, dressing room (extra couch possible )

Den Anbieter Maeva kann ich gar nicht empfehlen, die Angestellte war extrem unfreundlich und arrogant als wir den Schlüssel an der Reception abholen wollten und hat uns klar gesagt wir sollen verschwinden, wortwörtlich "dégagez d'ici". Die Schlüsselübergabe von Foncia war an einem anderen Ort, was wir nicht wussten. Es hat mehrere Anbieter von Ferienwohnungen und sie stehen in Konkurrenz zueinander. Die Reception der Anlage ist nur für Maeva Kunden! Die Anlage ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Die Angestellten vom Pool, im Restaurant und Shop sind sehr freundlich. Die Wohnungen sind gut ausgestattet aber extrem eng und klein. Man sollte Abfallsäcke, WC Paper, Abwaschmittel, GSTab mitbringen, oder Sie können alles im kleinen Shop kaufen. Die Preise im Shop und Restaurant sind nicht sehr teuer und vernünftig. Zu Fuss sind es ca. 15 Minuten bis zur grossen Strasse. Dort fahren regelmäßig die Busse Nr. 1 und 2 bis Cannes.

Come and fresh up in our swimming pool after a day of hiking or play a match of tennis to stay fit during your holiday. The Manoir is at the heart of an area rich in sights and activities (Cadouin, Beynac, Sarlat, the valley of the 5 castles, Lascaux II, the valley of Prehistory, etc.).
Just 4 words: STAY AWAY FROM IT.

The rooms are very shabby, cleaning very superficial, decoration appears from the 90ies, wi-fi extremely weak so much so that our TV was breaking up non stop, Tennis court probably not renewed since the ages of Borg and McEnroe ! To top it all up you pretty much make breakfast on your own with coffee machines that you would see in a railway station and no personnel to wipe the rain out of the chairs if you happen to have breakfast or lunch outside. Funny anecdote, our hair dyer was one that I use to see in the Ibis hotels over 20 years ago ! You do expect (and that is part of the experience) going into a French Manoir a touch of authenticity and old charm but the shabbiness of the place has nothing to do with that. It's really a shame because the place could be quite nice with the required investment and a 101 course on client management

Le lieu est spacieux, confortable, aménagé avec beaucoup de goût et parfaitement équipé. L'accueil de nos hôtes a été particulièrement sympathique et convivial. Un grand merci pour vos conseils avisés de visite, randonnée et dégustation... Au plaisir de vous revoir à une autre occasion.

Reviewed By GregC2131Après avoir fui un gîte douteux, nous avons été accueillis à 22h30 à bras ouvert par des hôtes divinement avenants. Et leurs chambre est juste wahou! Un pur délice avec lit à baldaquin, salle d'eau de toute beauté, le tout accompagné d'un éclairage parfait. Un petit déjeuner maison avec des produits locaux. Nous avons même eu droit au lait de la ferme toute proche. Bref! Un ravissement à tout égard. Cette adresse nous a été confiée par la patronne du restaurant de l'abbaye de cadouin! Là aussi, un ravissement pour les yeux et les papilles où la bonne cuisine rivalise avec la gentillesse... mille merci pour votre professionnalisme

Reviewed By caposoleilNous sommes venus par hasard à la ferme de l'Embellie, comme à chaque fois que je réserve une chambre d'hôte et nous n'avons pas du tout été déçus, du point de vue environnement, emplacement, et de par le logement; Je voulais trouver un endroit non loin de Alles sur Dordogne pour aller fêter les 95 ans de ma tante et non loin de sites touristique . Le hasard m'a amené à la ferme et nous n'avons pas regretté ! ,L'accueil de Gérard qui s'occupe essentiellement des hôtes a été très sympathique et chaleureux. Gérard est une personne simple , souriant, et aimant partagé son histoire et celle de sa famille, il vous racontera avec plaisir ces diverses fonctions et ses voyages,, c est un passionné qui saura vous préparer de bons petits déjeuners. .Véronique ayant une activité extérieure vous fera un petit coucou lors de votre séjour et vous aurez peut être l'occasion de rencontrer Guillaume leur fils très sympathique

Reviewed By Jacky GTous les deux ans, nous organisons un séjour avec 25 amis de notre dernière promo d'étudiants. Cette année nous avions choisi le Domaine de la Grèze et nous ne le regrettons pas. Ce furent 5 jours de plaisir, de détente dans un cadre bien agréable. L'hébergement est parfaitement tenu par Marianne et son équipe. Claude, le propriétaire est sympa et agréable à côtoyer. Je recommande ces gîtes. Pour tout vous dire, les copains veulent y retourner dans deux ans..
