A tough experience - the worst experience while traveling Taiwan
Reviewed By kobe2osakaA friend played a bad prank on me, telling me Dads is the most beautiful property on Orchid Island. Only writing this review to warn all travelers you may be disappointed at this property Guests are forced to wear tiny women’s slippers in the sleeping area. I’m a mans size 12 — the tiny slippers cause discomfort. The sleeping quarters are cramped and include a double bed for couples — which encourages late-night activities that couples do, and prevent solo travelers from sleeping. Dads is draped with stinky air-fresheners in every corner of the rooms and bathroom. I have stayed at the worlds best hotels and some of the most humble and great hostels in over 20 countries. Dads is the worse experience yet. And gets a much deserved 1-star rating at best. To make matters worse, the manager is unreasonable and racist against caucasians during coronavirus - as were some of her guests.

Reviewed By unre宿はご夫婦で経営しており、部屋もスッキリと清潔で、窓からの海の眺めも良い。中国語が全くわからない我々に、翻訳ソフトを駆使して、いろいろ教えてくれ、朝ごはんのお店にも初日は付き添って注文も手伝ってくれたり、夕食のお店を紹介してくれたり、大変親切。タオルがハンドタオル１枚しかついていないので、行くときは持っていくほうが良い。

Reviewed By V W我們一群人開心的到蘭嶼，一下船後，其他旅客已經有民宿來接應了，打電話到民宿，民宿的小姐驚呼：「你們到了！？接你們的人已經出發了。」但是我們等了超過30分鐘⋯⋯。來接應我們的人還說要先把行李交給別的客人，要我們再等等，我們已經等很久了！！本來下午想要去浮潛的行程都被打亂了！！到了民宿，覺得民宿做事太兩光，於是我們再確認晚上民宿準備的BBQ是否有準備8人份，民宿還提出質疑，說我們只有訂4人份，我們把Line的對話記錄給民宿看，他們啞口無言再去多準備四人份。本來以為晚餐可以開心的用餐⋯⋯，我們一群人下午去外面走走看看，很餓很累的回到民宿準備享用晚餐，民宿把準備的餐點全部給另外一組客人，另外一組確實也有預約BBQ⋯⋯，到底我們的餐點去哪了？了解整個來龍去脈，原來是接洽的人只有準備到另一組客人的餐點，我們預定的餐點沒有''輸入''他們所謂的電腦資料表裡，於是我們整個被大忽略。總之，來到這家民宿發生超多不愉快的事情，老闆一直強調服務，所謂的服務是這樣嗎？

Lovely guest house with friendly, helpful host - more than a hostel!
Reviewed By dudleybsmithLamuran Guest House is more than a hostel. They have hostel style rooms (shared bathroom, etc.) but also a few guest rooms. We stayed 3 nights in a guest room. It was clean, large, and the A/C worked very well. Samuran Lamuran, the host, was wonderful. He was very friendly, available and willing to help with anything we needed. He arranged a scooter rental, snorkeling trip, and a tour of traditional Lanyu houses. There are other fun outings he can arrange. Booking is done by email. Lanyu is very relaxed. Email with Mr. Lamuran, and he'll hold the room for you. Everything on the island is cash, and ATMs are hard to find, so bring enough cash. There are quite a few home stays on the island, and we are VERY happy we stayed here. We will return (Lanyu is a wonderful place) and will stay at Lamuran Guest House for sure. I checked 'yes' for shuttle bus service. What I mean is that if you ask him, Mr. Lamuran will give you a ride to or from the airport and outings. Note - other than the papaya tree and the cat, the pictures are from around the island, not right at Lamuran Guesthouse. The meal is from a restaurant very close to the guest house.

For the world beyond the sea, I feel very distant and unimportant, and there is no reason to rush back to the place. My homestay is located right in front of the beach head of Hong Kong and Macao on Lang Island. It has drunk ~ beautiful sea views, and you can feel the slight touch of whether it is sunrise or sunset.
