Definitely a treat for any train enthusiasts
Reviewed By Sally TMy family stayed here as a pit-stop en route to the south of France. It was wonderful. We stayed in the train and it was a great experience. Our children loved it - from sleeping in the luggage racks to putting the driver hat on and pretending to drive the train from the cab which you still have access to from the main bedroom. It's all mod cons also so air conditioning and colour changing lighting yet there is a glass floor in one of the rooms so you can look down on the train workings. In the evening we ate in the restaurant. The children were made very welcome and there was already a booster chair set up for our toddler and toys and books to keep them entertained. We are lucky that they aren't fussy eaters but I think even the fussiest of children would have enjoyed the food. They were also given little gifts at the end which they were thrilled with. The morning after a very good sleep on the train, we ate breakfast in the bar and we were treated to a huge variety of food: fresh bread, pastries, yoghurt, apricots, home made jams and marmalade and honey from the neighbours. We certainly didn't leave hungry. We have friends staying about 30 mins away but have recommended they pay a visit.

Reviewed By 78loudCigarette smell in first room. Second room, same problem.... The state of the convector scared me. It was completely oxidized. There is a big problem with the brightness, Very dark room and When i wanted to turn on the light some light bulbs were not working... Only one positive thing, mattress quality was good 3 stars hotel not representative so bad price quality

Super hotel
Reviewed By Kevin FThe hotel looks inauspicious from the front but as soon as you meet the owner, you know you’ve made a good choice. The owner is extremely welcoming and warm. Nothing is too much trouble. Our room was light, calm and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was great, with plenty to choose from.

Hated this motel
Reviewed By VDUThis motel was just awful. Whilst the reception and breakfast area had been renovated and was perfectly ok, the rooms were not. our room was tiny, not very clean and very much in need of modernisation. The bed was absolutely tiny and couldn't really accomodate two adults. Although the prices at this motel are low and it is relatively handy for Lorient airport I couldn't recommend to anyone that they stay here.

Ne ratez pas ce train !
Reviewed By Christophe_GrouhelIdéal pour sortir du train train quotidien. Nous avons voyagé sans nous déplacer. Nous habitons en plus à deux pas et pourtant nous avons été dépaysés. Nous avons réservé tout le wagon (6 adultes, 1 enfant, 1 bébé) et avons passé une soirée magique. Sous la pluie, sous les étoiles et au chaud. Et quel bonheur de voir passer les trains vu de ce Picasso. Les couchages sont confortables, c'est propre et nous sommes dans l'ambiance. En plus il y des videos et de quoi s'occuper à bord. L'accueil très sympa. On sent des personnes passionnées, et aimant faire plaisir. à venir en couple, ou en famille, idéal avec des enfants, en tout cas ça vaut le détour. Alors même à l'arrêt, prenez ce train, il vous emmènera très loin...

Good room - very lousy service
Reviewed By william586You are residing in an apartment building for elderly people (service flats). The upside is that the swimming pool is free of visitors in the afternoons/evenings (during morning there is an aqua gym for the residents). The rooms are spacious: two bedrooms and open living room/kitchenette. Kitchenette with fridge+small freezer and a hot plate for eventual cooking: Cuttlery is basic for 4 persons. The downside is the service of this place: while the arrival was very pleasant we were asked if we were to take the breakfast in the bar or in the room. We chose the second at an agreed time but had to call the service 30 minutes later to find out it wasn't ready. The drop-off was very rude. The breakfast was very basic but to our surprise the jam pots were already opened and refilled.... a real service killer if you ask me. Bathrooms towels were also not changed. the day after we heard that the managing director didn't allow the room delivery any longer. In short - if you like a good room with a possibility for a swim during an evening (<20h) but are able to ignore the service aspects, and the elderly setup then this place is ok for a short while
