This place is perfectly positioned for easy access to the entire greater PDX area. We have come here multiple times with our dog and find the staff, the room, the grounds, and the breakfast to be just right. It will continue to be our home base while visiting the city.

Terrific Location

Reviewed By h0lym0ly

My husband had meetings in Portland and I always like to tag along for shopping. We could have stayed in a fancier hotel downtown but I love this location. It’s so much nicer than being downtown and for me it’s closer to my favourite shops - at Bridgeport and Woodburn, and I also like the shops in Lake Oswego Village. We met our friends for dinner at a nice restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. The rooms aren’t fancy but they are comfortable with a big king bed and a balcony overlooking the pretty lake. There is a nice outdoor pool but we didn’t have time to try it. I recommend this hotel for it’s location. It’s so nice to step outside and have so many shops and restaurants right there. One thing I should mention is that a train goes right by the hotel and it honks its horn all the way through the intersections so it’s pretty loud at 10pm and again at midnight. My husband slept through it but I didn’t but I still would prefer to stay here rather than downtown.

Pool Not Available

The pool heater is broken and hot tub stuffed full of other guests trying to enjoy water. We didn't get to use what we paid for... the reason we chose this hotel was the pool. The room is clean though!

Fantastic room, noise travels

Reviewed By Caroline H

The room was fantastic. Spacious, clean, comfortable bed, roomy enough shower. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars was how much noise traveled from neighboring rooms and the hallway. I could hear the parents and kids next door in the evening (they weren't screaming), I could hear the neighbor's AC unit switch on and off every few minutes until I fell asleep (and result in a bit of a vibration), in the morning the footsteps of my upstairs neighbor were loud enough to wake me (again, not stomping, it sounded like a normal adult just walking), and a person talking in a normal voice down the hall carried like they were right outside my door. I don't know if there is much the hotel can do about this, as it just seems it was built without much noise insulation. If you sleep with the AC running all night or headphones in, you'll be fine. If you're sensitive to noise I'd recommend another place.

Very Nice Property

Reviewed By Roving94880

This motel is several blocks off the freeway, surrounded by trees, so you don't really hear anything from there. In fact, my stay was very quiet, no noise from adjacent rooms, etc. The staff were all very pleasant, and the breakfast room was large and airy with a nice selection of items. I would certainly stay here again.

Good location for Lake Oswego/Wilsonville/Tualatin area activities

Reviewed By 515madelynt

Ive stayed here 2x due to the property's great location for my visits. Perfect access to I-5, 217, and I-205 etc. And obviously to Lake Oswego/Wilsonville/Tualatin etc. I had to book last minute, and I ended up with TWO reservations ( other one at the RI Airport) and was panicked as I was outside the cancellation time. Stephanie at this RI helped me out and advised me to speak directly with the other RI and explain the situation and provide them with her name, and I was able to cancel the 2nd reservation. This RI needs updating for sure, the furniture and carpeting etc is quite tired and old. For my stay, I was rarely there! so it was of little concern to me.
