Reviewed By Martin RWe had a wonderful week at Club Med Palmyre Atlantique. It was our first Club Med experience as a family and wont be our last. For a full board the quality and food and drink was exceptional. Rooms and facilities were top notch and the staff were excellent, particularly the mini-club folks who really built great relationships with the kids. Also the entertainment was excellent and always capped off a great day. We'll certainly be abck and are keen to try other club meds.

Very enjoyable stay at La Cote D'argent
Reviewed By Deeb33Stayed for a week after attending our son's wedding in Bordeaux and we just wanted somewhere to wind down near the beach. The hotel was ideal - right in the centre of town with a fabulous beach ( La Lede) just a few kilometres along the D25 toward Royan, with a huge free car park in the nearby forest. Hotel was great for the money - and the room was perhaps a little small, however we booked a Superior Double room and there was a lovely balcony overlooking the square where we sat every evening for pre- dinner drinks. Our hosts were charming, very friendly and helped us along with our French, but they spoke English as well. We had breakfast on the first morning which was brought to our room so that we could eat on the balcony. This was a nice touch. There was free parking all around the town including the square beside the hotel, but for me (as someone who is extremely fussy about where I park my car) the private hotel parking was ideal. This was underground and just across the road, and the spaces were huge, but limited so you need to book. So the car was secure at night and out of the sun by day. At eight euros per day this was worth every cent. All in all a very enjoyable stay. We will return. Just also worth mentioning the delightful pizza establishment Phare Ouest in the square nearby. We ate there three times. Great World Cup banter, and a big screen!

Reviewed By janmaypaWe stayed eight nights booked via Eurocamp who are a delight to deal with ( – re booked twice due to Covid ) Eurocamp representation on site was not up to the usual high standard – simply handed an envelope and keys and shown to the unit the unit was clean and modern – all be it not the best layout that in have experienced a gas BBQ is supplied the site is more tightly packed than others we have used with parking a large car in the plot a challenge the site is clean and generally well run the pool and other facilities however are inadequate for the number of visitors at peak times with the pool being extremely crowded the wifi is supposedly free for 15 minutes – however I could never make a connection – Disappointing !! –gave up --- fortunately the mobile works and I could tether my tablet the on site shop was a disappointment as it would sell out of bread every morning within minutes of opening ! sat nav is the best way to locate using ... either 45.701778 -1.157474 ... or UTM 30T east 643435 mE north 5062564 mN We ate out in La Palmyre at the La Palmeraie restaurant in town ( about 40 minutes walk) recommended by a fellow euro camper and provided an excellent meal If you are of wanderrie habit then I recommend .... The local beach is 55 minutes walk ... locally the ... ... beaches within 60 minutes drive including the La Coubre lighthouse ... ... Royan – where you must visit the modern cathedral ... a little further away for the history ... ... Rochforth ... ... LaRochelle where lunch in Mamie Bigoude located at the back of the indoor market offers a great value lunch ... the ile de oleron – ... ... highlights ... ... ... the Chassiron light house (not to mention the gardens ) ... ... ... the fortified Chateau / citadel ... ... the low lights – ... ... ... took an hour to get over the bridge ... ... ...took two and a half hours to get back over the bridge ... ... ... we were advised by the local police that this was not un usual

Reviewed By soniaSedAppartement vieillissant, ménage non fait à notre arrivée et pourtant facturé à notre départ. Literie inconfortable. Pas de rangements de disponible pour ranger courses et vêtements. Poignées de portes qui ne tiennent pas. Pas de réseau. Les volets ne crochettent pas, la double porte qui ne s ouvre que d un coté, poele sans queue pour cuisiner, nappe sale et trouee, traces au sols, draps de lit taches.... bref seul l exterieur est conforme aux photos.

Réservation séjour faite sur campings.com et nous apprenons la veille de notre départ que notre emplacement 99A est situé à proximité du city stade, des tables de ping-pong (environ 3 mètres) ... et là bonjour les vacances hyper bruyantes de 9h à minuit non-stop !!!!! INSUPPORTABLES !!! Nous contactons Immobilhome et là, la gérante nous dit que ce n'est pas son problème si l'emplacement ne nous convient, on n'a qu'à faire avec !!!! Ça fait cher payer pour subir tous les soirs, de la musique à fond des jeunes, de la vulgarité, des shoots de ballons sur nos voitures, ... bref une horreur ! Comme Mme IMMOBILHOME ne pouvait rien faire pour nous à part encaisser les sous et mettre les clés sous le paillasson ... je suis allée à la réception du camping et là enfin quelqu'un de professionnel a l'écoute de ses clients et comme par magie nous avons changé d'emplacement ! Merci à l'équipe Siblu des Charmettes ! Immobilhome à fuir ne passez jamais par cette conciergerie !!!
