As far as views go, youâd be hard pressed to beat this place, with its enviable location overlooking the natural harbour as the Atlantic waves crash gloriously against the dark volcanic rocks. As for the food. A real disappointment. â¬28 for the Langoustine and Calamari Paella, which, genuinely, was no more than a large pan of starchy, saffron rice with a dozen small de-shelled prawns and some tiny octopus tentacles. Sure, youâll feel full after eating this, but what are you really paying for? I expected, (based upon the classic recipe & description of the Paella) to enjoy âwholeâ shellfish, the social enjoyment of Spains national dish. Personally, Iâd be ashamed to call this food âauthenticâ, and probably, the profit margins of this dish will constantly please the owner who will continue to trade on âthat viewâ knowing all too well that their location will always supply a constant stream of hungry tourists. Iâd probably best summarise my thoughts and experience with this :- if you relocated this restaurant with its team and ethos to another location where reputation really mattered, they probably wouldnât survive very long if they continued at this standard. Shame, because with a little effort, this place could be great, not languishing around with the bottom third in the town which is famous for its seafood. Its ranking is sadly well deserved

We just love this little place,it's changed hands since we were there last in Sept 2018 & the new owners are superb as are the waiting staff so friendly & efficient,I am disabled & they went out of their way to make me welcome. On the 3 occasions we visited this time we had toasted tuna sandwich ,it was filled with tuna, hard boiled eggs, capers,so much filling we had to use a knife & fork, there was a salad on the side ,salad in itself was a meal, can't praise everything about this place enough. We were staying in Caleta de Fuste a 40 min drive away but well worth the effort to have such great food, staff & surroundings.Thank you to all the staff.Muchas gracias a ustedes para todos, esperamos que nol vemos lo antes possible!Gracias

Before you dismiss this review look at the many others I have submitted. We visited here on the last night of our holiday. My wife ordered filet steak pieces rare, in Roquefort sauce, I ordered Sole wrapped in prawns. The steak arrived 15 minutes later, the sauce was nice the meat was clearly offcuts of beef, some was edible, most was not. 30 minutes later my meal had not arrived . The waitress arrived and asked if all was well. We said the meat was less than good and that my meal had not arrived and we wished to leave. At least they had the good grace not to charge us. We returned to our apartment and I had a cheese sandwich. Spoilt our holiday.

We dropped by for a late afternoon sangria, and ended up with grilled giant prawns and some octopus as tapas. Wrinkly potatoes, mojos and tomatoes also appeared, along with piping hot bread rolls. All tasted fresh and lovely! Not bad for under 30 euros.

I usually enjoy lunch at this restaurant, but we decided to visit in the evening, not a good decision. There was a good buzz when we arrived but our initial optimism disappeared by the poor service, our starter ,was literally thrown onto the table. Wine opened and poured straight into glasses . Our expensive fish arrived, again thrown onto the table and off disappeared the waiter, without a word. I looked around at other diners who looked increasingly glum as food was excessively delayed, served indifferently or looked downright awful. The restaurant was not overly busy,so no excuse really. We didnât return for the duration of the holiday as we found much better restaurants, where we had memorable meals.

If you want to know the gastronomy of Fuerteventura , El Callao is the perfect place to make your experience specia
Have been to this delightful seafront restaurant on two separate occasions and not been disappointed. The staff and service is just right- friendly and attentive but not pushy. First visit had beers and then the fish soup - really tasty and filling. Second time went for seafood paella which was delicious.Itâs a lovely restaurant ideally situated by the sea. Thoroughly recommend it.

If you're hungry this is the place for you. Most meals come with very large portions. On one visit I had a prawn cocktail starter and it sufficed as a main. Second visit I had a lovely pizza and ordered a side of chips which I need not have done as the pizza was so large and generously topped.

Restaurant avec 2 terrasses et un salon face au vieux port de el cotillo situe calle requena n9
We have frequented this restaurant numerous times during our many holidayâs in Corralejo. Located right in the beach. They food menu caters for everyone. The staff are very friendly. The only negative is their prices have increased, but itâs still cheaper to dine there than it would be to dine out at home.

We are a couple leaving in the island. Amongst all touristicoffer of restaurants, its sometimes hard to find an option of quality, considering most of the restaurants are set up for tourists, who will not return again. You will enjoy here wonderful fresh fish and calamares (Squid) fished in the âbackyardâ (the father of the owners is a local fisherman who supplies the rest.) Veggies and dressings make eating here a true delight, very tasty flavours! Hope you Enjoy your experience as we trully did!

Sabrina is the Roman name of a border river between England and Wales. In the Azzurro, Sabrina is the border between Cotillo and Heaven. She knows what to eat, when and how. Potatoes with "mojo picón", grilled octopus, the best fish on the market, grilled tuna, and all this with a Canarian white wine, "Volcano", delicious. Then, the drinks on the terrace, unforgettable. Thanks, Sabrina.
