Reviewed By Susan BWe totally enjoyed our 4 days here. The family that runs the Xalet is super firendly and helpful. They always have smiles on their faces. The dinners were absolutely delicious. My fellow traveler mentioned that she would prefer non-gluten and they had non-gluten for her at every meal without her asking again. The grounds are beautiful. When I needed to contact my next night's lodging and my phone didn't work, they were happy to make a call for me. I would absolutely stay here again if I were in the area

Yes the staff are 100% horrid and the hotel is run by people that are made of stone. So un helpful if you have any problem at ALL!!! They will not budge on any request for help you may ask of them!!!! WIFI!! What WiFi? That doesn’t even exist so if you need to access WiFi for work etc then they DO NOT have it so be warned. We were taken on a wild goose chase to many of the rooms in pursue of any signal and it was not possible to get signal in any part of the hotel/apart hotel. We were told it’s a blip at the mo but that’s not the case. There is the most disgusting odour that is near the bar area, not nice when trying to enjoy a drink (that’s if you can get a seat in the small bar area for such a large hotel). The smell continues into the corridors of the apartments and in the bathroom of the apartment. The apartment is not fully equipped, as described, we had to boil water in a saucepan to be able to make some tea/coffee and there is no way of making toast. We paid for an apartment with a balcony and we did not have one. After asking at the front desk they said they didn’t have one and basically it was tough!! We had the description of a balcony on our booking confirmation but they were not interested in what was written at all. The apartment was uncomfortably hot and we were not sleeping due to not being able to open the sky light in the room. We had to leave this hotel if w head any chance of rest and being able to ski. The hotel did not give a damn about us and argued everything we spoke to them about. If you ever need to cancel or re-arrange then be warned they will not budge. There was no way they would compensate us in any way and was happy to kick us out of the door when we asked. We left and booked into the HG Molina which is well worth the extra money and right at the foot of the slopes. You may be thinking of booking this place due to its location but believe me that’s all it’s got. Ask yourself why this place may be the only place that has rooms left? Alarm bells should ring!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Ski rental services and classes right next to the hotel. Buffet restaurant at the hotel and there are other restaurants nearby.

Reviewed By ThiagoBilliDirty rooms, stinky bathrooms, everything you need you have to pay. Overpriced spa 40 Euros for 40 minutes and You also need to pay for extras. Extra charge for parking although the car park is empty and it should be part of facilities offered to the guests. Spots in every wall, not even close to a 4star Hotel. I would rate 2 star at max. Staff is great and helpful at least. Never again

The worst customer service, stole my money

I was unable to communicate with the hotel to cancel when the restrictions were announced. Nobody picks up the phone and they reply an email after 4 weeks! I have been. charged and never even got to properly talk with anyone about this since they are so unresponsive

Reviewed By Daniel025I satyed at this property for a night during a wonderful March weekend with my wife and daughter. I obtained a pretty reasonable rate through hotels.com that included breakfast. The hotel was built in 1940s and it keeps an old school feeling. The bar is in the same shape as when the hotel opened, but it does not feel outdated at all. Our room was spacious and clean, as was our bathroome. The hotel offers a ski room where you can leave your ski gear and has many family-oriented facilities. If you have young kids this is a very convenient hotels, with different hings to do... It has a payground right in front of the hotel and a room full of toys and books. The hotel was packed, but all the kids staying there were very well behaved, and we could have a very good night's sleep. The fornt desk staff as very nice, as were the two servers in the bar and in the restaurant. The quality of the food was very good. Breakfast buffet had many different options and the dinner buffet was also very good. The only thing is that the hotel is about 3 kms. away from the ski slopes, but they offer a parking spot in a garage that is very close to one of the ski lifts. We will surely stay at Hotel Adsera next ski season.

Our hotel is also equipped with bar service, restaurant, lounge, gaming table, solarium terrace, library and ski storage. It is a skiing and mountain three-star hotel located at the food of skiing slopes and at Supermolina shopping centre. It is situated at less than 200 metres from ski lifts
Little disappointing
Reviewed By Alexandra ERoom was good, although the shower didn't work particularly well - although it did work. Close to the chair lift and next to a couple of restaurants. We were there at the end of the ski season this year and there was no white wine, so we had to take our own into the bar in the evenings. Only hot item on the breakfast menu was toast, no egg boiling facilities. Nice breakfast if you like croissants and bread, but could be improved.

A lovely place with amazing views
Reviewed By 284awrWe had a fantastic stay at Xalet-Refugi UEC. Marsal and Laura are wonderful hosts and really looked after us. The hostal is in an amazing location, perched on the side of the mountain with amazing views down into the valley. The room was comfortable and clean and we slept in one altogether as a family of four. A special mention for the food, which was absolutely delicious. It was all freshly prepared with local produce and was great value too. Thank you Marsal and Laura!
