Nice fjord and mountain stay!
Reviewed By saran497Lovely authentic old hotel. We visited off season, in October, and despite the fact that the restaurant was closed, the owners still provided a great plate of crisp bread, ham, cheese and fruit for dinner. Thank you, Ove and Turid! ❤️ We had some magnificent hikes in the area. ⛰

Beautiful location but lack the final touch
Reviewed By KjellStavangerThe hotel is located at the fjord in the best location in Rosendal. Very beautiful scenery both mountains and the fjord. We stayed here a weekend in August. Nice room with balcony and seaview. Missed coffee in the room. They adverticed electric car charging possibility, but they let petrol and diesel cars occpy the electric car charging spots. I even believe some of the Hotel staff parked at the charging spots. The fjord invites for swimming in nice weather, but the water isnot very accessible from the hotel due to boat tourists occupiing the quay. This place could be great with som easy fixes. Great breakfast and we also had a good dinner here.

Relaxing oasis in the Valley
Reviewed By YShultzThe lodge was such a uniquely decorated, charming, relaxing inn surrounded by beautiful mountains and waterfalls! The food was healthy and delicious, our 3 year old child loved it. Every corner of the lodge "invited" us to sit down and read a book while drinking a glass of local cider. Caroline and Harald were lovely, wonderful and helpful in offering tips about local activities & restaurants and helping all their guests feel welcome.

Most memorable stay for our family :-)
Reviewed By svlcogenOur group of 9 people had a very lovely stay at this home. The property is set in an extremely beautiful location with stunning view of ocean and mountains. The area of the property is also huge with large green field, playground, creek and farm animals. Our kids had a great great time at this property. There are also many trials and trekking sites close to the house with stunning view and easy access. You can even start your trekking from the property. The SPA supermarket is within 3 minutes easy drive, and the lovely town of Rosendal is a few minutes drive from home. What make this home so special is the attention and care of the owner, Magne, who is very friendly, helpful and working so hard to make sure all guests are happy. My little 10 and 5 years old kids keep talking about how they appreciated the owner during their stay. Everyone of our group had a great stay and very lovely time there. The only regret we had was that we should have booked more days at this house... in which, next time we will :-) Highly recommended.

Modern hotell - very suitable for mc, and all others
Reviewed By 782piapThe hotel is modern and very nice, easy to find in the centre of town. We came late and they laft a key for us. We had a room at the back were the main entrance is, so nice with an entrance to our room from the outside (and inside of course). That made it easy to unload all our stuff from our motorbikes and had a short way to carry it. And we parked just outside or room where we could see the bikes!! Everything is renovated, it is clean, has a tv, ad the bath room was nice too. We were alone at breakfast rom, that had view over a lake. Ordinary bur good breakfast There is several stores/shops and a lagre parking lot on this side, but they did`n bother us

Best homemade dinner
Reviewed By venturingmanThis guesthouse type hotel is so cozy and relaxing, especially the rooms with the windows facing the fjords. The owner is very friendly and accomodating. And cooks one of the best norwegian homemade foods. The guesthouse serves breakfast and dinner. Snacks and drinks are plenty and readily available at the restaurant.
