Reviewed By S1331IImmI was impressed with the hotel upon arrival as the rooms were spacious, clean, modern and nicely decorated. Came back on the second day to find the door of my room open -- along with all the other rooms on the floor, with no staff in sight. Went down to reception to report this and they sent a bellhop back up with me. There was now a guy on the floor saying they were cleaning windows and thought the guests would be out all day so it wasn't a problem to leave the doors open. Told them this was unacceptable but they did not seem to understand why. I asked the bellhop was the hotel going to be responsible for any missing items. He hemmed and hawed and wouldn't give me an answer. The window guy then came into my room and said he had to lock the window back up. Heard the bellhop quietly telling him to take his work boots off before entering the room, but he DGAF and came tramping in with work boots on. The hotel later had two assistant managers come speak to our group about the situation, but it was apologies mixed in with more excuses ("We're very sorry...but it really was very safe!" "We're very sorry...but it's just that the view of the lake is so good, we want to make sure the windows are clean so guests can enjoy it!") Um...the view is OK at best. If window cleaning requires staff to be going in and out and doors to kept open for convenience, how about cleaning windows only when rooms are unoccupied?! Minor complaints: We hung our towels up the first night meaning we would reuse them, but housekeeping put them back to their original locations so we couldn't tell whose towel was whose. And they couldn't even be bothered to hang them neatly. The towels looked just kind of thrown over the towel bar. Also, skipped the included breakfast and just wanted a cup of coffee, but hotel wouldn't provide takeaway coffee. I had to go out to the 7-11 next door to get coffee. (There are two packets of instant coffee provided in the room, but they have sugar and creamer mixed in.)

A good choice but nothing special
Reviewed By nzbearA decent hotel and one of the better ones on Kinmen. Basically a mid-range budget place but well run. Nice staff. Had issues with smokers in nearby rooms which the staff dealt with promptly. Shower over bath which is awkward as there is no shower curtain and the floor gets wet easily. Good eating options around the hotel. Nothing special about this place but a good solid choice.

Reviewed By ongtay11Found the owner very helpful and friendly. The place was very clean and homely.Breakfast was limited only porridge. It will be good if they can provide some bread ,butter and jam for overseas traveller . Strongly recommended.

Reviewed By hojeantung在出發前，和老闆娘用line 和 facebook message 聯系好，到了碼頭再請她來接。要注意金門的古厝一般都只接或只送，天井的月光也是，我選了接，因為我們還機車後，機車公司會給我們送到碼頭。 天井的月光在寧靜的小村裡，附近有阿嬤在曬農作物，令人感受到古厝和小村的簡樸。天井的月光有個大廳，可以放空，喝茶，有時老闆會提供一些餅乾或是水果，休息下、和其他住客談天也很好。房間大床很舒適，洗手間甚至比房間還大。 天井的月光離沙灘很近，開機車去歐厝、泗湖、后湖沙灘都在15分鐘內，很方便。 老闆很好人，介紹了很多景點，也給了很多行程和餐廳的建議。 歐厝離開金城市區有點距離，開機車單程要15分鐘左右，晚上開機車也有點涼意。

Reviewed By Mei901215微醺在金門酒廠旁邊，可以聞到酒糟味道，因此命名。 這次入住雙人房，隔音很好，重點是床很舒服，還有浴室的裝設也太高級了吧，尤其是那個免治馬桶，我好喜歡！這兩天早上老闆都準備金門道地美食當早餐，一人一份多到我快吃不完，而且民宿竟然還有咖啡機！ 民宿老闆和小管家都很熱心親切介紹金門景點，臨時要買伴手禮還好有他們給建議。 很高興這次選擇入住微醺，推薦給同樣喜歡旅遊的朋友。

Intolerable!
Reviewed By JacqJ8888We were there for two nights over Chinese New Year. The village was beautiful so was the I-Shan property. Unfortunately the room was filled with intolerable odor and the bathroom was filthy. Though I prepared myself for staying at a B&B accommodation, I did not anticipate how intolerable it was. We reserved the family room, which should “sleep 4 to 5”, but it was very small, just enough for a double bed and a small 2-seater sofa. There was no place for luggages. No closet or cupboards. Every bedding was old and odored. The smell was so strong and disturbing that I was not able to sleep. Eventually I had to fold my coat and cover the pillow. Even the sofa smelled bad. I wonder how long they have not replaced pillows and blankets and cleaned the room thoroughly. Bathroom was just as bad. Towels were no longer white, turned grey in fact. Tiled floor was old and dirty. Dirty plastic slippers. I ended up not taking a shower while I was there. There is a mezzanine floor in the room, but we were told because we registered as a couple only, ie two guests, we should not use it. It was dark and dusty, a narrow wooden staircase leads up to it. A bit spooky actually. Breakfast was not eatable. We had coffee only for two days. All in all, will not recommend to anyone. It is a beautiful property, but on the outside only.

A friendly and comfy BnB hotel
Reviewed By davidchooStayed at this BnB hotel for 3 days and it gave you a sense of family homecoming and warmth. Ran by a Chinese couple, we found the place clean and nice as the couple was very accommodating asking us what we liked to eat for breakfast. It provided free wifi and coffee/tea in the room. On top of all, the boss (an English language teacher) will provide hotel transfer to the airport if you stayed 2 nights or more.

LuoFunJyu offers guests an array of room amenities including air conditioning, and getting online is possible, as free wifi is available. The bed and breakfast offers room service, to make your visit even more pleasant. Given the close proximity of popular landmarks, such as Deyue Tower (1.5 mi) and Shuitou Historical Houses (2.0 mi), guests of LuoFunJyu can easily experience some of Jincheng's most well known attractions. While in Jincheng be sure to experience local oyster favorites at E Dia Zhi Jia Deep-Tried Oyster. Best of all, LuoFunJyu makes it easy to experience many great Jincheng attractions like Juguanglou, Zhushan Village, and Jinshui Primary School, which are some popular architectural buildings. LuoFunJyu puts the best of Jincheng at your fingertips, making your stay both relaxing and enjoyable.
Gorgeously restored house, warm and sincere service
Reviewed By Stella TWe squeezed in a 3-day trip to Kinmen after visiting relatives in Xiamen and had such a lovely time here. This is largely due to the beautiful Laoye B&B and warm, sincere service by Lan Shao Ye (Young Master Lan), which began even before we arrived in Kinmen. While we were still in Xiamen, he called to confirm our booking and to tell me he will arrange for complimentary transfer from the ferry. On the day we were arriving, upon learning that we had a lot of luggage (because over-enthusiastic relatives loaded us with gifts), he arranged for a roomier vehicle. We also booked him for a day's tour service (NTD5500 for 5 of us) and he proved to be a great guide who is easy going, accommodating and eager to give us bang for our buck. He tried to squeeze in as many sights as he could, and looked after our parents when they needed to rest while the rest of us checked out some sights. Booking a regular driver will be cheaper, he told us frankly. But trust us, Young Master Lan is worth it. We enjoyed the wholesome '老爷早餐 （Old Master's breakfast) of sweet potato porridge and a variety of home cooked dishes, including veggies from their own garden -- all cooked by the 75-year-old patriarch of the clan. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves here in Kinmen. Book early if you want an experience here. They're v popular.
