Reviewed By JanMTexas1880This is a favorite of mine! Love to stay here because in the summer it is quiet and cold. Close enough to walk to the casino, convenient and very economical for what you get. The beds are great and everything has always been clean. It's getting a little older and dated now, probably could use a remodel soon but it is clean and has a great breakfast. Staff is very, very nice too. Highly recommend for anyone traveling alone or with pets.

Reviewed By RTW4321Arrived at the Americas Worst Value Inn aroound 3 am. The motel was unkept and dirty looking and looks like it should be more of a $49.99 price instead of $110. Drove around to my 1st floor room and saw a crowd outside the top floor above my room having a loud party. I remind you it was 3am! I went back to the office and told the front desk what was going on and was told that the owner allows people to do this. I checked out and complained to Hotels.com which refused to give me a refund and I've been a dedicated Hotel.com customer for decades! Just to make me feel better I'm going to copy and paste this to every website I can find for the next 12 months.

Reviewed By nick61208I love this place, it had a friendly staff and there was a very convenient shuttle that could take us to the Coushatta whenever we wanted. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable as expected and I would definitely stay again!

Reviewed By Jason BAfter two years holed up because of covid this was a much-needed getaway. Had not been there in six years and room was comped for two nights, Awesome! Forced us to go.! lol. Room was good. I realize the Hotel/Casino took a hit the last two years so little things that bothered my wife did not bother me as much, such as windows were very dirty on the outside, glasses didn't look clean, a little dusty and dated. Everything else was Great! King room came with fridge and microwave. The casino - same as before slots galore.! One thing different, when playing you won't be asked if you need a drink. Now have to get an advantage card, put it in the machine, pick from the menu and drink arrives within 5 min. really fast!! Food - Gumbeaux's, seafood platter was the best. Terrace Cafe, had a great omelette for breakfast. Noodles Chinese, someone needs to show them how to make egg rolls, Dam.!! Slots were tight.! Good fun stay though.

Reviewed By cathyw20i have been coming since the 2nd year that they opened. i have used the rv park with my camper and have used the chalets on several trips. i was in chalet 48 on may 23-25th 2022. it has been a couple of years since i have come and i was disappointed. i tell everyone this is such a nice place but when i walked in the chalet you can tell housekeeping not doing a good job. the windows need a good clean had green slime on the outside. the shower door was sliding on dirt and hair. the ac filter don't look like it has been changed in yrs. and every time the ac kicked on it was loud. making some kind of loud noise. its time to get these chalets back to nice condition they were in. the pool was great. the shade on the lamp needs cleaning. under the bed has not been clean very dusty. there was no volleyball nets up. the plauground equipment was not there. and the tennis courts need to be taken care off. i didnt ask about if any of this was going to be replaced but i sure hope so. This was such a great campground if you wanted to bring kids dont let it go down any more.

The hotel is extremely clean service is excellent do not be fooled by the appearance the new owners have worked extremely hard to upgrade this hotel floors are extremely clean the tub is cleaner than some of the more expensive hotels I have stayed at. LINEN IS CLEAN AND FRESH and the staff will bend over backward to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. To the staff, thank you for a great experience and I hope that your business continues to grow..See you on my next trip. In closing some people are quick to judge a hotel before you take a close look..

I arrived at 10:30 PM to be told I had no reservation; they had no rooms; they had cancelled all reservations due to hurricane damage. I then had to scramble for a room- very hard to come by after Hurricane Laura- finally found one - an HOUR AND A HALF away. Before leaving the parking lot I lodged a complaint with Expedia. The next day, I reached out to Expedia again & they contacted the hotel trying to get a refund on my behalf. They were told I had failed to cancel!!!!! Again, I responded to Expedia that I had arrived & was turned away! The hotel is still refusing to issue a refund. I have filed with my credit card company & reached out directly to Wyndham, whose customer service rep did, indeed, find my reservation!

He advised me that he has a king N/S avail for $79. Each night. Hotels in this area for this time are VERY hard to come by, So i booked it. I asked very clearly if I decide to check out or cancel will i be charged, Rye said no. shortly after making reservation with Rye, I received notification that my card was charged for $276.00 ( which was the agreed upon rate for the 3 days i had booked it for). typically hotels Authorize the first night which is understandable, but this was a actual charge for the entire stay. I didn't mind at the time being that we would be arriving to check in shortly, until we received a phone call from the work crew and suddenly (as ive noticed with this line of work) changed location and we were heading to Florida and no longer need the room. I called right then to release the room for someone who may have been waiting on an opening, the lady that answered was very hard to understand on the phone her language dialect was very strong which made it hard for me to understand, however i advised her that i was charged and need to be credited. she told me she had to call someone to get that approved and i should call back in 20 min, i agreed. 30 minutes later, I call the hotel back, but received no answer. I waited 15-20 min called back, still no answer. I did this for 2 days, Im sorry but i do not believe this property is so busy that they do not have time to answer the phone within a 2 days span that i tried. I am giving this hotel the opportunity to correct this, as of now I have only been refunded $183.10, which is not correct. Refund the full pre-paid price which was told would not be charged but was back to my card, and I will not take further action. Today is Wednesday, I believe Friday is enough time to have this issue corrected. Please note that you may contact me Via email [email protected]
