Reviewed By Jane NWe have stayed at this hotel several times. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is helpful and nice. Problems are with management I believe. Guest clothes dryer was broke and has been for a while. The TV’s are small and the audio reverberates making it difficult to listen to at times. The ice machine on our floor was broken. The carpet was dirty and needs to be replaced. This hotel can be super but it needs to be refreshed and have things working! Nothing says I don’t care like broken things that are not fixed. New TVs should happen, they aren’t that expensive. I thought IHG required franchisees to do refreshes every so often. Where are they?

Reviewed By DUnderwThe bed was as firm as a pile of bricks. The room had no microwave, and a fridge that cooled only slightly better than the overworked AC unit. The floors shook. The parking options were abysmal, not very handicap friendly either. The steps were difficult to navigate (I think they had short runs, it wasn't very easy to get up them, I'm ambulatory but disabled.) The staff was professional, kind, and friendly. It's not their fault the location's ownership doesn't improve the property. We didn't feel like we needed to hassle them for the things that didn't work, they just want to earn a wage. As Best Westerns go, this was probably the Worst facility, not even on par with the local Motel 6.

Clean Rooms, But Dirty Pool
Reviewed By 107nan2010The rooms are always clean. The receptionists are friendly and helpful, as well as the breakfast area assistant. However, we have found that the pool is always less than desirable. Pool is dirty. There are weeds growing up around the concrete by the pool. The ladder going into the pool was broken months ago when we were there, and is still broken. Breakfast has a lot of room for improvement. The oatmeal and waffles are good, but the hot breakfast of eggs and sausage is not.

We drove to Fredericksburg the next day, as it was close, and almost stayed another night in Kerrville att his hotel. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to my family or friends.

Reviewed By Terry AStayed 3 nights here and would never recommend......it is filthy: walk on the carpet barefoot and your feet are black, sheets are stained, towels need Clorox, baseboards and wall outlets covered in thick dust. We had no room service any day, although we complained they did not clean and the next day the same thing. Maid's sheet showed no one was in the room! Utility workers parked trucks and had a barbeque and party in the parking lot until really late hours, laughing loudly and causing disturbance - don't think they were even staying there. Complaints to front desk went on deaf ears, never an apology or 'sorry', they could care less. Heard other complaints from guests as well. Went to lobby to get coffee one afternoon and there was a graduation party with ladies pushing together all the tables and chairs in the room - and placing their food and goodies on the bar area that has drinks, coffee, yogurt, etc. for the hotel guests. Can they do that??? Really, no one cares at this hotel......worst experience we have had EVER.

Old and lumpy mattress
Reviewed By Global485426I was very impressed with the decor: rustic wood ceiling and brick wall. Coffee maker, mini fridge and clean bathroom. That's where it ended. The pillows were oddly misshaped rock hard or very thin. The mattress felt like it was as old as the motel. Deep indentions and terrible hard high hump in the middle. I didn't get any sleep the two nights I stayed just trying to find a comfortable spot on the bed tossing and turning all night. Advertised at $119 per night but at checkout I get a $390+ bill. Now I have to spend more money to see a chiropractor for the pain in my neck and back.

Reviewed By memajanWe stayed there for for granddaughters wedding also alot of friends and family. We were very disappointed, the rooms were large but dirty, phones didnt work, plugs for lamps not plugged in, Baseboards nasty. No elevators ,air conditioners very loud, i will not recommend this place to anyone. I was very disappointed that friends and family stayed there from out of town and out of state. I also took a photo of a wash cloth that has been washed and folded with the other wash cloths.

Reviewed By dgtravel2022Hotel was clean and was cleaned daily. The staff at the hotel was polite and helpful. I enjoyed talking to the staff and being in the hotel. There was a pool on the site and although I did not have the opportunity to swim others did and the pool was nice and clean.

They obviously hard at keeping things clean and are maintaining what they can without contractors help. A much appreciated hot breakfast with fruit! We will stay here again on our travels!
