Reviewed By StephanMunich2022My expectations before the holiday were a little bit sceptical! But Scandic Karasjok people made me a perfect day. The breakfast and dinner were 10 of 10 points. Because of the Sapmi parlament they often host political guests. I think this is the reason for the perfect food and service (all managed by a young man from Hadsel).

Helpful owners and good coffee
Reviewed By trafikiThe owners helped us out as our car got stuck in front of their accommodation. Afterwards, they asked us inside and we spent a nice time with them having coffee and nice chats. The fireplace in the entrance area was pretty inviting to hang out and we had a great time, even though we did not stay for the night. All in all, it was a pleasure to meet the owners of Jergul Astu! Reviewed By Karlijn47During our Scandinavia trip we stayed 2 nights at this camping. We had a good place at the edge of the wood. The toilet and shower building is good, you can also wash and dry your laundry. Unfortunately the weather was very bad with lots of rain.

The designed log cabins at Engholm are situated next to Karasjohka river, 6 km outside of Karasjok. The houses are built by Sven Engholm him selves and have a special charm. He have made all the interior furnishing and decoration in order to create a unique and personal atmosphere in each house. We provide lodging with full board, or if you desire, just only lodging. Free wireless internet zone. Canoe and bicycle rental. Salmon, trout and grayling fishing in the river nearby. Char and pike in the lakes.

Silently rushing over the tundra with a team of excited dogs, the purple pastels and bright oranges of the arctic sky, reindeer softly emerging from snow-clad birchwoods, salted lamb, lingonberry jam, sheer exhilaration. Its hard to convey the joy and awe of a sled run with Sven Engholm. We were so well looked after by Sven and his friendly and talented guides Astrid, Maria, Emma and Carl, who were also great company. The food, accommodation and thrill were excellent. The Northern Lights surrounded by howling dogs, candle-lit sauna and puppy cuddling were just extras.? Physically quite demanding and not for the faint-hearted but utter bliss for the adventurer. All in all, an outstanding experience that we will never, never forget. A heartfelt thank-you from Scotland. Nikki & Cara xx

Finnmarksvidda på sitt beste
Reviewed By 468rikkerÅ komme frem til Nedre Mollisjok etter timesvis på tur, er ren glede. Iskald øl, glovarm badstu og nydelig mat gjør godt for kropp og sjel. Et godt sted å være! Nedre Mollisjok er litt mer «luksus»enn de andre fjellstuer på Finnmarksvidda. Nydelig hjemmebakt brød til frokost, Per sine kjørereinsdyr på utsida, scootere som kommer og går - en opplevelse!
