Reviewed By jay mIt was our first night in Sri Lanka and we booked Kanda Holiday Bungalow based from good reviews. We were a group of 06 so we booked 03 bedrooms. We were very surprise that the whole house will be for all of us (Literally). The money that you will pay for will be so much worth it. Its super cheap and nice. Just dont expect to much on the rooms. Regular rooms, big bathroom with heater. Adding to the above, the guy who host us in the house is very nice and caring. He even bought for us supplies from the outside. If you are looking for a place to really relax and enjoy quietness, this is the place for you. It is advisable for families or group of friends, you can cook your own food and even use all the facilities available in the house.

Reviewed By Udaminie46748669704Main building is located just near to the road. Few windows were on the road facing wall. Any outside person can see guest room doors Small rooms and not well equipped. Young staff but can do more than that. cockroaches on the bed. Late night, in- room phone rang loudly, call was from another room ?. No hot water available at night. nice location but need more attention.

Calm and Quiet Place with a Beautiful Infinity Pool and a Splendid Mouth Watering English Breakfast
Reviewed By nimeshmiran98Situated in Heerassagala Kandy about a Lkr 150 (one way ) tuk ride from the kandy city centre is where PGC residence is . First of all , the staff were more than happy to let me check in an hour early which was a really great start which did not come at any extra cost . The pool was small but beautiful and modern as in it was a mini Infinity pool with a beautiful view . Also the pool was well maintained despite the numerous plants and trees around it . Dinner was simple but delicious and very generous , Fried Rice and Kottu , the main highlight was the breakfast served next morning . It was a Typical really well served Classic English Breakfast which consisted of one Bockwurst , Baked Beans , 2 Bullseye’s , 3 slices of toast bread , Butter and Boiled vegetables served with Tea and Coffee. Keep it up guys , really Loved it !!! I would totally reccomend this place if you’re looking for a quiet affordable weekend getaway !!

Homestay in Kandy
Reviewed By charlesbroxArrived late afternoon after taxi ride down from Negombo. The accommodation was down a lot of stairs and in my opinion was a bit basic but it was self contained with two bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen shower however it was clean and made a base for out two night stay. I've never done a homestay so maybe my expectations were too high. It was very reasonably priced. The hostess was a charming elderly lady who was very keen to help and offer advice and guidance. There was a taxi driver called Manjit who seemed to be attached to the property and he took us round Kandy and back and forth to the pub for a very reasonable fee. I would recommend that you get him to take you round and show you the sights such as the Buddha on the hill, Temple of the Tooth, view over Kandy lake etc so you don't miss anything.

Amigos Studio Apartment has one bed room apartment and two bed room apartment and is situated on a top of the mountain with great panoramic view of mountains. The accommodation has a seating area and a terrace a balcony with mountains views. All apartments has free WiFi and air conditioning. And we have free private parking. There is also a kitchenette, fitted with microwave and a mini bar.

When we arrived to Sri Lanka we decided to go straight to Kandy well away over 3 hours from capital city Colombo. We were so surprised to see how safe and beautiful Kandy was. The place is located on a top of a hill and beautiful hosts are there to help with anything. The rooms were extremely clean. For the price you pay it’s well above with cleanliness and facilities. One of the cleanest places we have stayed in and the breakfast takes the prize! It was well spread with fresh fruit and home made food the hosts cook that morning. Best iv had in the entire trip . Definitely recommends! Don’t hold out on visiting this beautiful country . Despite all that happened these beautiful places are safe and the home stays are safe

Fantastic place!
Reviewed By David MWe stay here for 1 night in April 2018 and it was fantastic. The owners are fantastic and help you with everything you need. You don't feel one more in the guesthouse. They treat you so well. Give you all informations that you need and are interested to know you better. Really nice stay. One of the best in Sri Lanka. Thank you Mr Viktor Fernando and wife.

Excellent home stay with a welcoming host
Reviewed By 504kirstenjBernard and his family were lovely hosts. He helped to buy us train tickets to Ella, which are difficult to get and which he got for about half the price than the online agencies sell them for. The house has a beautiful terrace where you have breakfast overlooking the hills (but is up a steep hill which you will need to walk up). It can be a little hard to find in the dark but tuk tuks are familiar with the local supermarket a couple of minutes walk away so it is easy to be dropped off there. The room is spacious and comfortable.
