Their fish and chips is delicious traditional fish and chips, otherwise they have others delightful fish and chips menu with local sambal (local spicy condiments) or appealing international seafood menu with paella or mashed potato. They also served kids menu, desserts and free flow drinks (selected items beverages menu).Restaurant decoration like a boat, container, sea side, blue, blue sky and it's attractive venue.About the price, it's quiet pricy but overall it's recommended.

This was out third visit to Alto over a couple of years and I am pleased to advise that it continues to improve and stays highly focused on delivering to the highest standard.All the dishes we ordered were excellent. My wife greatly enjoyed the snails and seafood risotto. I loved the beef carpaccio and Beef ragu Tagliatelle.Alto has a great approach to wine...various fixed priced options...choose 2 glasses of the same or different wines for a reasonable price. Accessible location but somehow managing to be removed from the noise of the big city. Very welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. Pleasant and comfortable interior. Wide choice of dishes which are prepared with passion and largesse. You can choose between Western, original thus refreshingly tasty Indian, Korean and Japanese cuisines. I will fail to recommend individual dishes as the Lady of the House definitely knows much better. So it will be best you follow her suggestions - but do try all of their desserts!The bill came back surprisingly light. I've been in this restaurant before but on a weekday & this time we went for our anniversary treat which was a Sunday. Hats off to all the Chefs of Shangri-la Jakarta!! A truly superb & exceptional buffet spread....very Italian & absolutely delectable to the last bite!!!Service staff were brilliant! This is my 2nd time dining at OSO. The first time dining at OSO, my colleague put the review in Tripadvisor that was not satisfactory because of the lack of service although the food is good.OSO management reply in Tripadvisor with the same âWe hope we can serve you better next time you dine with usâ standard reply.Well, Iâm going to give them second chance and hopefully it is better than the last time I was here.Big Mistakeâ¦!!! On the positive side, the food is still good. The Calamari appetizer was crispy with chips and fried zucchini and the Carpaccio was good.The Carbonara Pizza is crispy, although slightly greasy, has a good amount of topping and taste good.The Tagliatelle are as expected and quiet flavorful. The Branzino (Sea Bass) very moist and the seasoning was adequateThe Tiramisu is good and light enoughWe order 2 bottle of wines (1 Red and 1 White)The Negative side, the service staff are just awful.First, after we put the order, several times the staff (more than 1) told me that there is a minimum of IDR 1.500.000 to seat at the window. If he/she can roughly calculate order, I think they should know that the price of 2 bottle of wines already covers that.The next thing is all the food (Appetizer, Pizza, Branzino and Tagliatelle) appears at the same time. They should know that Appetizer should be 1st and the rest should follow. Maybe they have an attitude that this supposedly high end restaurant is the same as âPadangâ style restaurant where they serve everything at the same time. And in no way all this food fits the table we are sit in.After much protest, they took the food back to the kitchen, but by the time they serve it again all the food are cold (the cheese on the Tagliatelle are starting to curdle). Imagine eating Cold Carbonara Pizza and mushy Tagliatelle.During this time my table mate strike a conversation with nice couple seating next to our table and found out that they are celebrating their Wedding Anniversary but receive a terrible service. The husband already informs OSO during reservation that this is a celebratory dinner and they are going to have a âsurpriseâ cake for them, but the cake never came. Compounded with bad service, this just ruin their night also. (We decide to treat them at Bistro Baron downstairs for some drinks)Do you think Iâm going to be back again at OSO, I donât think so. We had dinner in Patio for our wedding anniversary dinner earlier this week. I found the restaurant in Trip Advisor, and its high ratings made me decide to pick this place.The place is named âPatioâ, as its signature dining hall is in Patio (LOL) - big window glass so you can see the small garden outside restaurant. Itâs nice ambience in the evening, but I guess it would be excellent in morning for brunch as well. There are not much variety on the menu. Well, it mainly serves Italian food, so if you love Italian then this will serve you well. Yes, there are some Indonesian and Asian dishes as well, but nothing really special.So we went with Italian food. The waitress recommend angel hair pasta with lobster. We agreed but changed it to king prawn for more reasonable price âºï¸. And of course, we ordered Pizza. We picked funghi pizza. For the soup, again not many variety, so between tomato and potato cream soup, I chose the latter.The soup came out first. Itâs okay, but a bit too salty for my liking. Then the pizza, which was thin and crunchy at the edges, just like proper pizza do. It tastes really good, no complain. Finally, angel hair was served and it tastes excellent. A bit spicy (a bit more spicy would be perfect, my wife said), but served as really great main course. My only gripe of the evening was the live music. I donât know if weâre sitting too close to speaker or what, but the volume was too loud for my liking. Especially weâre there for (supposedly) romantic dinner. The band was okay, although Iâve seen many much better performers in other places.So all in all, quite nice experience, but not a five stars given all of the above.
