Our Guest House "Windmill of Love" is a magical place filled with positive energy. It is located in the south of Touraine in the small cozy village of Chambon, on the river bank with its water mill of the 15th century, 5 minutes from the Roche-Posay (La Roche-Posay), a health resort for the skin. A small farmer's family will be pleased to give you their attention during your stay here.

Reviewed By Joannasph22We stayed at Moulin d'Amour for only one night, but as soon as we arrived we wished we had booked at least a week! The place is stunning - perfectly mixing together traditional French features with modern, romantic touches. It is clean, sustainable (massive solar panels, locally sourced food) and quiet. Nina is an extremely kind and caring host and a great cook! Definitely recommend having dinner there if possible. There are beautiful places to have coffee or read a book scattered throughout the property & great views from all windows. Have to also mention, if travelling this summer, COVID measures throughout the property are spot on - definitely felt at ease knowing that Nina is taking all the precautions necessary to keep her guests safe. We really hope we will come back soon!

Reviewed By NeedToSeeItAllWe stayed here as a group of 40 travelling around France, and it was clean, easy to access, accommodated our bus with parking, and was in an easy to access location. A short walk downhill into town, and straight off the main ring road around Loches. The rooms were clean, basic and just what we needed. Great value.

Reviewed By birky1What a fantastic and interesting place so very different. Rooms all individual and very special, some with large baths so nice. Downstairs rooms very Arabic style, hot tub, outside seating area. Breakfast very different and excellent. Would visit again.

The hotel has been fully renovated in 2019 and is ready to welcome you in its pleasant and comfortable spaces. The hotel has 61 rooms, among them 9 for families and is equipped with fitness centre, meeting room at daylight and a lounge with a big screen. To kick off the day, the hotel offers a buffet breakfast, all you can eat style, with a complete selection of hot drinks, sweet and salty products. Easy to reach from the highway A10 and A85, our hotel is located in a dynamic shopping area hosting various French brand names. In addition, we have partnerships with numerous restaurants in the surroundings.

Reviewed By auntieshaz21Our room was small and on the ground floor, although the window opened - full marks there was no security lock. You couldn't leave it open at night. Comfortable bed and bedding, friendly staff and 24hour reception. Good size parking but not secure.

Excellent stay in Amboise B&B
Reviewed By gmck1984My wife and I enjoyed a two-night stay in the gite or B&B just across the street from the Chateau Royale of Amboise. There had been a mix-up with another hotel booking service, but they still honored our reservation. As mentioned by others, the stairs can be a bit daunting if you are on the 2nd or 3rd floors. We had the room on the ground floor, with access to a large sitting area. The breakfast was done on the first floor and it was fantastic - fresh local meats and cheeses along with croissants and bread; homemade jams, omelets and coffee and juice. Genevieve was wonderful as host, although she does not speak English. I speak French so we were able to communicate. Great location near the main square and right across the Loire River.

Little paradise!
Reviewed By EviBrA haven of peace of quiet in the Loire region! The domaine is beautiful, it has a huge lovely garden with an amazing natural pool and even a little forest to walk in. Every room is a little house with its own terrace, which provides you a lot of privacy. The owners Sylvain and Vincent are very charming and welcoming, but give you the space you need. The breakfast was good, with fresh fruit salad and yummy croissants. On Friday and Saturday evening you can join the owners for dinner, which was so great and cosy, as Sylvain is an amazing chef and also has a great taste in local wines. By car it’s also a great spot to explore the nearby villages or the many castles in the area. We enjoyed our stay so much, it was our first family holiday with our baby of 1 month and a half and we would definitely recommend it!

Our Hotel is open since 17th December 208. The rating is 3 stars Hotel LINXA provides 9 rooms and it is located in the heart of Tours 72 street of Bernard Palissy 37000 Tours. It is very close to the Congress VINCI, Tourist office information and just 2 minutes walking distance from the Train station of Tours.

Room I stayed in (Singapour) is new, extremely clean, cosy and very comfortable. Thoughtful layout and details, right to the choice of toiletries. Exclusive feeling due to the small number of rooms. Had dinner at the restaurant downstairs, Restaurant Le Chien Jaune. Hotel and restaurant are run by husband and wife. Prompt, efficient and friendly staff - my orders were served one after another with little delay even though the restaurant was full-house (on a weekday evening!). Friendly restaurant staff patiently translated set dinner menu from French to English for me. Food is of Michelin Star quality (by a Michelin Star Chef) at great value. I had prawns (starter), scallops (main) and ice cream (desserts). Hotel and restaurant are rare gem indeed. Highly recommended!
