Typical Subway but great service. The servers were friendly and even though they were extremely busy they still smiled and focused on the customer.

Eating at Zydeco last Saturday night was very disappointing. The service was excellent. The server was fun and appropriately attentive. However, the food was not acceptable. The Jambalaya was very dry and had almost no meat in it. (What meat was there was also extremely dry). They ran out of bread. I am not sure that we will return.

I went to this restaurant and would like to have a good steak before flying back home. The restaurant is a very casual one. The staff there was very nice and service was good. However, I was a bit disappointed about the rib eye steak that I ordered. I ordered a medium one but the steak turned to be medium well or nearly well done.

Black Swan Brewpub

We were staying in the area for a volleyball tournament and decided to go to the Black Swan Brewpub mainly because we could walk from our hotel. There were 8 of us and we didn’t have a reservation but were able to get in and get seated right away. The girls ordered the giant pretzel as an appetizer and it is by far the largest pretzel we have ever seen! And it was soft and warm! Plenty for the entire table to share. Some decent beer choices and also other beverages if you don’t want beer. Someone in our group ordered a Moscow mule but it doesn’t come in the cooper mule cup so if that is important to you, I wood suggest ordering something else. The food all came out very quickly. Someone in our group orders a burger well done and it was basically burnt. The burger that was ordered rare, seemed to be good. I had the fish and chips and that was nice cod and the batter was good but no malt available. The fries were also pretty good. Others had the Reuben sandwich which was very hearty and the shepherds pie which definitely wasn’t the traditional English shepherds pie and more like a stew. Service was friendly and efficient but maybe a hit too much as the waitress didn’t ask us if we wanted more drinks when we were done eating. She just asked if we wanted the check. If there weren’t any other choices, we might go back but wouldn’t plan on it.

Have eaten at this Applebee's several times but felt inclined to review it for the first time.Went on a Monday evening and found they were having their $6.99 hamburger special. My wife and I ordered the All Day Brunch Burger and the American Standard. It was the first time I had eaten a burger at Applebee's with the seared in ingredients of bacon and onion. Makes for eating a neater hamburger and, although the Brunch Burger comes with crispy hash browns and a fried egg (mine was over easy), it was still easy to handle and eat on the bun. Fries were the side. All of the for came out hot and was very good. The restaurant was clean and the service excellent. We sat in the bar area which had multiple television screens. It's a great deal for a hamburger and fries for $6.99!

Harry & Izzy's

Can’t say enough nice things about this very tidy and inviting Harry & Izzy’s location at the Indianapolis airport. My one disappointment was that I didn’t bring my extra stomach, so I could have tried more things. I was lucky enough to choose the pork tenderloin sandwich. It was just excellent. Thanks to my server for the terrific suggestion. Washed it down with a very complimentary IPA draft. The potato chips would have been delicious if slightly more crisp, but I’ve lived in Indy’s humidity & I know there’s no such thing as a crispy chip in this climate. Service was very good & the prices were very fair, especially for an airport location. Several other menu items are offerings that are also licensed offerings from the famous St. Elmo’s Steakhouse in downtown Indy. I would highly recommend the world famous shrimp cocktail. Thank you for leaving us your review. It is great to hear how much you enjoyed your visit with us, especially the tenderloin. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you again next time you are travelling through.

My daughter and I had dinner the night before a flight out of Indy. I ordered the roast beef, which was not impressive. Not bad, but not anything special. The cheese/hash brown casserole was good as always. My daughter had her usual crispy chicken salad, which she loves. Service was good and the refills came fast, which is big with me since I always have 2 glasses of whatever I'm drinking. The bill was inexpensive overall. I would surely eat there again, just not the roast beef dinner.

Service is excellent. They have an extensive menu from sandwiches to steaks. We dined for Sunday afternoon lunch. Seating is available inside and outside. Ambience is inviting. Prices are moderate/affordable. The four of us ordered something different from salads to sandwiches and there were no complaints. We would definitely dine there in the future when passing through town.

Stumbled into this place out of convenience. Initially concerned because it was not appropriately staffed. One overworked waitress who had been there for 15 hours! Other diners were incredibly rude to her, but she worked her tail off and had a pleasant attitude through a tough situation. Nice variety on menu, very tasty burger. Would definitely go back and hope they got the waitress some help!
