I live about 40 miles away, but have been going to The Pines for years. I normally get the prime rib, it's always done perfectly. I have also ordered pasta, chicken and seafood. All of which is terrific.They have a full bar, nice atmosphere and great service. For sure, you won't be rushed. You can enjoy a meal with family, friends or a special someone. About 20 miles from Starved Rock State Park, I would highly recommend.*All servers are great, but Amy is the best. Ask for her!

I have been here more then once...because others wanted to go. The service is mediocre at best. The waitress we had the last time acted like she was doing us a favor waiting on us. The food is just OK. When they first opened the food was good. Within a year...not as good.

I stopped in here for lunch with a coworker and enjoyed every bite. Thereâs a nice little salad bar with all of the usual fixings, wonderful fried chicken, and about 10 other dishes. Two of us had drinks with our lunch buffet and walked out the door for a little under $22. The greeter had a big smile on her face and was very welcoming. The wait staff was happy to help and made the meal very enjoyable. I will definitely go back next time Iâm in Streator.

We ate here after walking out of a local Mexican place . The guy waited on us right away and was very friendly. The food came in short order and was hot and goodWe will eat here again.

Wing appetizer (6 whole wings) not 3BW style. I did the Caribbean Jerk (I would recommend). Had brisket sandwich comes with 1 side. I had mac n'cheese yummy. Brisket was moist and flavorful. Chibatta roll was soft. Place was recommended to me by Streator's baseball "umpire in chief". Great suggestion. Stayed about 2 hours watching Duke play on TV. Met Dave a local and had a great dinner and conversation. Tunity. Off the beaten path (1 mile north of Rt18) but worth the trip, I'll be back.
