If you're looking for something different in the fast-food market, Chili's is for you. Founded in 1975, the Dallas-based restaurant chain has over 1,600 locations worldwide and features a Tex-Mex style cuisine that includes everything from baby back ribs to chili to Cajun shrimp pasta to enchiladas to quesadillas. But it also offers such traditional items as grilled chicken sandwich, classic turkey sandwich, bacon burger, smoked wings and ribeye steaks. Chili's is a change of pace from other fast-food restaurants. In the Chicago area, there are over 30 locations. Where do you start? We joined friends at the Chili's Grill and Bar at 9720 Ridgeland Avenue in Chicago Ridge. They are into "hot" food, even Cajun. We aren't. But we decided, for old time's sake, to see how much heat our tongues could take. We started with spicy boneless wings and chips and salsa and smoked chicken tacos. Then we graduated to a slab of original baby back ribs, Atlantic salmon with rice and steamed broccoli, Cajun shrimp pasta, Mango-Chili tilapia and a Southern Smokehouse burger, four slices of Applewood smoked bacon, melted sharp cheddar cheese, garlic dill pickles, onion rings, lettuce, tomato and Chili's signature sauce. I think the sauce betrayed me. After a breather and a couple of cold glasses of lemonade, we closed with several slices of Oreo topped Molten cake. Great service and great food at a great price. You can't ask for more. And I gained a new respect for Tex-Mex cuisine at the same time.

Stayed in the area just found this on TripAdvisor so figured we would try it. Food was good, burrito was pretty big. Has its own take on authentic, from Texas so hard to beat tex-mex. Overall a good place would return.
Nothing mind blowing about this place, but it will give you your basic Ameri-Mexican dishes you've come to expect from the area. Everything was fresh and hot. Server was friendly, and it is affordable. Chips were very delicious. Not a ton of vegetarian options, but there were a few. Good for a quick, cheap meal.
This was once one of those restaurants that we frequented often and filled with regulars. Not so much anymore. Since the new ownership, the food and drinks, specifically, the margaritas, are not as good. The margaritas are watered down. The food is less tasty; steak tacos are tough. It appears that the owner is cutting corners. The increased prices do not fairly represent the food and drinks provided. The service remains attentive and consistent. Nice people. We hope that owner will consider putting both effort and money back into the place we formerly loved to visit.

People at work have been talking about the Del Carmen Mexican restaurants. I decided to give this new location a try. We ordered a taco dinner and a burrito dinner with horchata to drink. The taco dinner we ordered had chile rellano, steak, and carnitas tacos along with rice and beans. The burrito was a steak burrito along with a side of rice and beans. The food was terrible! The cheese on the tacos and burrito was off flavored. My advice is to skip this location all together. Maybe the other locations in Bridgeview or Burbank are better.
