Authentico has ok food. It looks good, the place is busy and the service is perfect. But the food tasted bland. It wasn't anything special. We did have a empanada appetizer that was very good. Maybe it's a question of finding the right item. We will return for another try soon.
We heard about this place from the locals. It is literally an unmarked back door of another restaurant. They serve Mexican food that is out of this world. You can customize the meat, sauce, and extras to fit your tastes. There is some indoor sitting but also lovely outdoor seating. A truly enjoyable experience.

Canât say enough about how juicy and tender the chicken was.... among the best I have eaten anywhere. Sauces were varied and some better than others but the variety was appreciated. Sides were not impressive.... fries were crinkle cut like you buy by the ton at Costco, macaroni and cheese had an off taste, noted first by the kids and confirmed by the adults, the corn muffins were ok and the veggies probably the best of the lot.Two whole chickens were more than enough for five adults and 3 kids and there were leftovers.... I would return!

This is a simple place with above average food and good service. Authentic options along with some TexMex.
We are a family owned and family run mexican restaurant. We love mexican food and offer the freshest of ingredients to provide you with delicious mexican flavors.
The rude manager Diego lost customers tonight for $3. We live in Knollwood, across the street from the restaurant. When arriving we sat ourselves, as instructed by the sign at the entrance. We were the only customers there. We ordered the guacamole and the price was $7 on the menu. When we got the bill and were charged $10, I went to the front counter to ask the manager about it. He scolded me, saying "Yeah, didn't you read the sign?" He pointed at a sign on top of the front counter that said due to an increase in cost for avacados, customers will be charged more for any item that includes avacados. This sign wasn't on the tabletop placard and we weren't told this by our server. It definitely wasn't reflected on the menu. We never went to the front counter since we had seated ourselves, so did not see the little sign. I explained this to Diego and he said he'd have to talk to the server to remind her to tell customers about the price increase. I asked if he would take the additional charge off our bill, and he said "No, I won't do that." I said "I will leave a review to warn my neighbors about this and describe your response to this situation," and he said he didn't care. There's many great restaurants in this area. When we choose to go out to eat at the end of a long week, we don't need to be treated like this. Life is too short. It's not the $3...it's the uncomfortable feeling I would have giving this new restaurant in our neighborhood any further business. I hope the owner reads this and takes it seriously. Perhaps it's a good coaching opportunity for Diego. If you want to make it right with this local customer, feel free to respond to this review.
