They seem to have a good drink selection and a smaller western themed menu. The food is good, not spectacular, and mine seemed to come a little overcooked. A homeless person was outside the front door when I came in.The ambience is nice so I'd give it another try but don't expect gourmet food. It's more of a bar type restaurant.

Great service, great food at an incredibly affordable price. Chips and salsa awesome-just ask for side of hot if you like spicy. Chipotle fish tacos are the best in the area. Al Pastor is also one of the best in the area. We get them served traditional style and ask for lime wedges. The complimentary soup alone is worth the visit. We never leave hungry and we always feel like we got our money's worth.
This restaurant is attached to the Rio Grande Fresh Market, an unassuming family-run place in Joliet. The food is pretty good, though I will say that the salsas are not for the timid. The diner is offered a selection of salsas with their chips, and they range from spicy to "blister-your-mouth", so be forewarned.

Met with friends before a Christmas concert for lunch. I ordered the chicken, mushroom, spinach quesadilla. Came with rice and beans. Delicious. My daughter enjoyed her fajitas and said she'd definitely order them again. Even with beverages for everyone and guacamole appetizer, the bill was about 20% less than I expected. It's on our list of places to go back to! Nice decor and atmosphere and friendly service, too.
We have been to the Friaco's in Shorewood on Rt. 59 many times and had great service and food. This restaurant is very small and there was only 1 person acting as the bartender, hostess and waitress. They weren't busy when we stopped in but couldn't imagine the kind of service you would get if they were. I opted for the burrito and when it came there was very little steak. They pretty much filled it with refried beans, rice and all the other stuff vs. putting in your money's worth of steak. Drinks are fairly pricey for the location but the location is convenient. When I go back, it will be to the location on RT. 59.

I read about this place as a top Chicago ice cream spot- it was and is certainly different. They have conventional ice cream in cups and cones and then all sorts of interesting concoctions never seen at more conventional stands.Take a moment to study the menu and ask a lot of questions- the helpful staff will guide you to a great choice.
El Authentico has some of the best and most authentic (no pun) tasting burritos and tacos around. They have a particularly good hot sauce, it is the kind that seems to be creamier than most and the hot will burn your mouth to the point of tears - which is good if you like that kind of thing. If not, the green is just the right amount of heat. Service is always prompt, it seems like family usually is working here. Not usually super busy - hopefully things pick up and they stay for a long time!
When I lived in the Tinley area I would visit regularly for some good taco's... I discovered there was a location near my new home and stopped in for a burrito... it was so greasy I couldn't even finish it, I was disgusted by it. To rewind a bit when I walked in a lady was tidy'ing up and didn't even acknowledge me for about 3-4 minutes and said "are you ready?" um, yea I was when I walked in!!! The guy that gave me my order was a lot customer service oriented and may have saved my business. I'll give em another chance, just one though - that meat was super greasy and that's all I can really remember - oh I remember the flan, they get it from a chicago bakery and it's really good.

Iâve been here a few times for lunch with the girls, itâs always good! So I decided to bring the family here for some dinner. Their chips and salsa were very good and authentic. Our waitress was so friendly and spoke great English. We ordered a supreme chicken burrito, the tequila lime shrimp which was a healthy alternative lots of veggies! And grilled shrimp no carbs, I liked it! We tried the fish tacos which was flavorful, all dinners except for the shrimp one came with a generous portion of rice (yummy) and beans. I also tried a cucumber margarita....so different but I liked it!

Legitimate Mexican "Carnitas" ... done right, taste right.Attentive service, spacious dining room connecting to a function room. The restaurant has a fairly complete menu of Mexican food, but the real draws are Barbacoa and Carnitas. Ample servings!I'd give this restaurant four stars except for cleanliness, especially the grease on the floors and the dirty restrooms.
