Perfect spot
Reviewed By NikkiKociWe had a great stay and really enjoyed the location and the hospitality. We booked three nights with a terrace which was super nice so we stayed two more nights and as the only room left had no terrace we got to try that too. The room with terrace is much nicer but the price compensation more than balanced that. It was very hot out during out visit and ad there is no AC would have been happy with open windows as there was a nice breeze at night but the few visiting mosquitos made it difficult and thought mosquito screens would be a nice upgrade. Every morning before breakfast we took the bikes to the beautiful nearby beach for walk/ workout/ swim- fantastic! Being 7 month pregnant and with my challenging diabetes diet and the table service due to covid 19buffet restrictions they really went above to accommodate me. We easily biked to lunch/dinner and downtown, finding the location ideal between the beach and town. Clean, really helpful in planning our visit and great options like a hot tub, sauna, indoor and outdoor heated pools. We had such a nice visit to Noirmoutier-en-l’Ile! Hope to be back again!

Reviewed By franco-americaineWe thoroughly enjoyed our five-day stay at this hotel. The property is well maintained, with a convenient parking. Bikes are available for rental. The pool is heated off season, but still refreshing. There are plenty of lounge chairs in the sun or shade. And, importantly, the area is quiet and zen. Our studio was comfortable and quiet and stayed relatively cool during hot weather. It had a small but well equipped kitchenette and a lovely private terrace. To our pleasant surprise, the hotel offers a morning bakery delivery service, and the bread and pastries were very good and reasonably priced. This made breakfast and lunch easy. We had the hotel breakfast once in their lovely indoor/outdoor room. It was very good, with a variety of offerings, including excellent homemade cakes and cookies. We particularly liked the French toast. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. This is a hotel we’d surely return to, if in Noirmoutier. Highly recommended!

Nice hôtel, but in a dark environment and at a price slightly too expensive
Reviewed By Nicolas DWe have spent a nice WE in NO (Noirmoutier) and stayed two nights (16 to 18 Aug) room 14 for a price of 255 EUR / night. Service was very nice and friendly. Location is great right in the center of the small town. A real plus. But the room was average in size and dark, with a single very small window under the roof on the 2nd floor, Amenities are 'cheap' with plastic glasses for instance in the bathroom, no fridge, no safe, no tube. Our bed though was very comfortable. Breakfast is below average in my opinion for a 4* hotel. No on demand cooking station and a very simple (but acceptable) buffet. As a conclusion a nice hotel indeed but way too expensive for what it offered. We can appreciate the location and it's the high season but still... This remains Noirmoutier which is not what I can qualify of a 'fancy destination'. We looked at the SPA prices and they were way too expensive for what we perceived was offered.

Our house is located in the center of the city, on the French island of Noirmoutier. A few meters from the property, guests can access the best restaurants, shops and the famous Alle Jacobson Promenade. We provide complimentry bikes to all our guests to explore the island, with a range of services and excursions to complement your holiday stay. All of our rooms are equiped with King Size beds, Satelitte TV, private bathroom with large showers, robes and towels. Free breakfast served every morning in the dining room or in the garden. Free wifi available throughout the house. Dinner menu (Table d'Hotes) available every night for an additional cost (menu will be posted in the lobby every morning)
Wonderful place
Reviewed By Robert SWe stayed for 1 night on 30/3/22 and had a fabulous time. From the moment you enter the characterful and lovingly restored building, you are made to feel very welcome. Rafael and Diane are fantastic hosts, down to earth, relaxed and warm. The bedroom was stylish, airy, bright and spotlessly clean. The dining room is beautiful and really cosy, they had a fire lighting when we went in. Rafael prepared a delicious, fresh, well presented meal for us, washed down with an excellent Pinot Gris which was suggested by Diane. We've stayed at many places in France and the rest of Europe and this is right up there and deservedly so. So book here if you're planning on coming to the island. The only negative, we only stayed one night. Robert & Sarah.

Reviewed By AbsolutistOne feature above all distinguishes Saint Paul (otherwise an hotel with much to commend it) : it has no kettles! neither in the room nor available on demand. I was offered a thermos the first night which must have been used exclusively to contain coffee, so the water was foul before I poured it on the Yorkshire Gold. For the second night I bought my own kettle for €22 at the local super U, and left it behind for the rescue of future Brits. ASK FOR IT! The hotel lies in the Victorian, semi rural part of town near classic restored bathing huts on the Plage des Dames, which are well worth a visit. It has a mature garden with Spa and heated pool (neither of which were sampled but looked good.) Service was courteous both at reception and breakfast. Breakfast was indeed Brit-leaning with ample bacon among the decent offer (at €12 a person.) The room was simple in line with the three star category and it was fun to find on the wall a photograph of the hotel from Victorian times with our room prominent.

Reviewed By nicolaas mThis is a very nice place to stay although some rooms are older. But these rooms are very clean and functional. Good beds and good bath/shower. They are renovating the hotel step by step and they (the owner who does it by himself) is doing a wonderful job. There is a large swimming pool, 2 tennis fields and on site bicycle rent. The beach is right next door about 100 metres. This is a nice, easy and comfortable hotel where they will do everything to make you happy.
